1. T’was the Wee Folk
She came from County Cork to cook for one of
America’s founding families, and just like a fairy
tale, within the year she’d married the eldest son
and lived happily ever after. He said it was her
lovely hazel eyes, quick wit and buttery biscuits
that captured his heart. She said “T’was the Wee Folk pixilated him with fairy
dust”— their thanks for the thimbleful of Irish whiskey she faithfully left on the
hearth every St. Paddy’s Day.
At Superior Woodcraft, skilled designers, cabinetmakers, installers (and
perhaps even the Wee Folk), work hard to turn your fantasy kitchen into a reality.
You see, we believe in “Happily-Ever-Afters” too!

2. The Fairy Godmother
She was brilliant, beautiful and boundless... everyone could see that. What they
didn’t see were her wings, or her wand, or the whispering trails of fairy dust that swirled
in her wake. Those were hidden to all but her own children, and of course, her fairy
Godchild. She lived in a castle of sorts, set high upon a great field of wildflowers and
surrounded by an oyster blue sea. Her gracious spirit and imagination were evident
throughout her lively home, yet it was her kitchen that was truly the most enchanting of
all. In this ivory tower of wonder and wisdom, love was the first ingredient in every
recipe, wounded hearts and broken wings were healed, and everyone learned to believe
their dreams really could come true.
If you wish for a kitchen expertly crafted with wonder and wisdom, then look to
Superior Woodcraft. We may not have wings (at least those you can see), but we can still
make a believer out of you!

3. The Cabinetmaker’s Music
he master cabinetmaker listened closely, taking satisfaction from the skillfully
T orchestrated sounds which came from his wood shop. Intonations from each crafts-
man’s task became a part of the melody—the gentle swoosh of a wooden plank when
pulled from its stack, the intermittent buzz of a miter saw, the soft thump as a rubber
mallet encouraged a joint, the whisper of an expertly balanced drawer, the rhythmic rub
of a hand-applied glaze. Every cabinet became a song; the wooden notes given life by
his talented hands. This was Karl Geiger and this was his legacy.
Through his daughter, Karl Geiger’s legacy lives on. Visit Superior Woodcraft’s
showroom and experience his enduring artistry. His music plays on...

4. The 40 Carrot Birthday
It was the 40th birthday of her most beloved pet
& trusted companion—a horse of no comparison named
Kady. Such a rare event certainly warranted a party!
Friends and family responded enthusiastically.
Some arrived with baskets of apples, others with bales of
hay, boxes of raisins & oatmeal cookies. Most clever... a huge box from Tiffany’s
filled with 40 carrots and a gold name- plate for Kady’s halter. After dinner,
everyone gathered in the barn to sing Happy Birthday and share big cuts of
carrot cake with the amazing chestnut angel who gave her so much joy.
We all celebrate life in our own unique way. Superior Woodcraft under-
stands that there is no typical client, and no business as usual. Each project is
truly a one-of-a-kind, once-in-a-lifetime affair.

5. The Summer Kitchen
Some say it’s old-fashioned, yet throughout the summer,
she and her sisters gather around a huge kitchen island to
peel, slice and preserve the bounty from their gardens. They
chatter and laugh about family news, their children’s capers
and the eccentricities of their husbands. Once filled, sparkling clean mason jars will be
artfully displayed on kitchen shelves creating a translucent tableau of relishes, spiced fruits
and thick jams. Yes, canning might be old-fashioned, but these families will indulge in the
best of their summer gardens—all winter long.
In today’s fast-paced and high-tech world, unparalleled, old-fashioned methods are
often overlooked in favor of profit. At Superior Woodcraft, we believe that time is not worth
saving when quality (and good taste) is lost.

6. The Best of Friends
They met at age three. By age five, they’d announced their engagement—
made official by the exchange of his prized Roy Rogers wallet. At seven, they’d
found his parent’s love letters in the attic and mischievously delivered them to
every mailbox in the neighborhood. At ten, they’d built a quaint fort from
refrigerator boxes and planned to live there forever, surviving on bubblegum,
Mallowmars and lemonade. By age thirteen, the engagement was off, but the
friendship only grew stronger. Forty years later, and still best friends, they often
join families to play, to connect and cook. And yes—Mallowmars, bubblegum
and lemonade are still on the menu.
At Superior Woodcraft, we know that enduring relationships are built by
attentiveness, communication and reverence... a few of the very same attributes
we employ when producing your premium custom kitchen.
