Advantages<br />Children have access to more resources other than the standard textbook.<br />Children have more opportunities for self-directed learning. <br />
Advantages<br />Students can practice skills using computer software to improve things such as reading or math skills.<br />Students motivation increases when they get the opportunity to use technolgy.<br />
Internet<br />The use of the Internet in schools allows for students to find more information that may not be available otherwise.<br />
Internet<br />Students can connect to other students via email or chats which provides more meaningful learning.<br />Students can also use the internet share presentations with others such as parents or other schools. <br />
Motivation<br />Students are motivated more by using technology because it is a hands-on experience.<br />
Academic Achievement<br />Software or websites can offer students drills and practice sessions to improve academically.<br />These often track student’s progress too.<br />
Teachers<br />Technology in the classroom means teachers have more resources to use with students. <br />Teachers benefit from having technology in the classes because they need to keep records and track student progress. <br />
Parents<br />Parents appreciate their child’s school utilizing things such as:<br />Teacher-parent email communication<br />Class web pages<br />Grades available on the Internet<br />
