    • QRCE enters into strategic partnership with MowgliFoundationTo enable the sustainable development of societies in Jordan through thementoring and evolution of entrepreneurs and leaders21stApril 2013: Queen Rania Center for Entrepreneurship (QRCE) and the MowgliFoundation (Mowgli), the award winning, UK-headquartered mentoring organizationthat recruits, trains and matches mentors with entrepreneurs and leaders across theMENA region, have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) upon whichQRCE, Mowgli’s newly appointed empowered partner in Jordan, will organize andimplement the Foundation’s mentoring programs in the Kingdom.The collaboration seeks to provide a solid platform to inspire, connect and guideentrepreneurs whilst empowering them to achieve their business and personalpotential, ultimately encouraging sustainable social and economic development.Upon signing the MoU, Mowgli will share its expertise, knowledge and tools withQRCE to enable them to run the mentoring programs in Jordan in the future. QRCEwill promote the benefits of mentoring among entrepreneurs and will encouragethem to take part in the mentoring programs that will be organized across thecountry.In his comment on the partnership, QRCE Executive Director, Farhan Kalaldeh,said: “We are pleased to partner with the Mowgli Foundation which has developeda unique mentoring model in the MENA region over the years. We are excitedabout offering the Mowgli Mentoring Experience (MME) in Jordan and adding morevalue to Jordanian entrepreneurs and start ups.”Upon signing the MoU, Mowgli Chief Executive Officer, Helen Al-Uzaizi, said: “Wecontinuously strive to place mentoring at the heart of entrepreneurship andleadership development across the MENA region. Since 2008, we have workedhard to build the critical support needed to encourage the growth of SME’s, whichwe believe are the backbone of sustainable economic and social development.Through partnering with QRCE, we strongly believe that we will be able to furtherenhance and expand our programs in Jordan and support the development of thelocal entrepreneurship ecosystem.
