The economy is unstable and crippled by debt </li></ul><ul><li>and the infrastructure isn’t there to cope either. In the UK youth unemployment is heading towards 1 million and a generation of our brightest young people are leaving university with no jobs to go to </li></ul><ul><li>but there are enormous opportunities through entrepreneurship. The UK has been built in the spirit of entrepreneurship and it needs to rediscover that spirit today………. </li></ul><ul><li>But our young entrepreneurs need inspiration and the wisdom of experience </li></ul>
  3. 3. mentoring – the opportunity <ul><li>yet, there is a common link between already established businesses, and those wanting to establish themselves through a mentor relationship. </li></ul><ul><li>and that link is of course, </li></ul><ul><li>very simply, ‘business’ itself … </li></ul><ul><li>with a ‘win, win’ scenario for both sides </li></ul>

Mowgli – two way relationship <ul><li>Mowgli is a new, not for profit global mentoring organisation (accreditation in progress) set up to make a difference to business start ups and aspiring entrepreneurs in the world over </li></ul><ul><li>critically, it’s a two way relationship as leaders (mentors) give up their company / their own time further develop their own potential, grow their (own) business, learn new behaviours and undergo a life changing experience that effect of which will remain with them, and their own businesses, forever. </li></ul>

  8. 8. how it works <ul><li>Sponsors donate funds </li></ul><ul><li>Entrepreneurs will be identified, recruited and selected </li></ul><ul><li>Sponsors put forward mentors in addition to others </li></ul><ul><li>Mentors trained by globally renowned mentors </li></ul><ul><li>Sponsors/media partners create a PR programme </li></ul><ul><li>Mentors matched with an entrepreneur </li></ul><ul><li>Mowgli project manage and implement the programme </li></ul>

Founder - Tony Bury <ul><li>Born 1952, educated with a BSc Hons and MBA (Manchester) </li></ul><ul><li>General Manager of “start up” business aged 27. </li></ul><ul><li>Created 18 start ups in the Middle East, Canada and Australia </li></ul><ul><li>Sold business intelligence business to a UK Plc and led a </li></ul><ul><li>Vendor Inspired Management Buyout (VIMBO) for a </li></ul><ul><li>Consultancy practice in July 2009. </li></ul><ul><li>Maintains a portfolio of minority shareholdings in some ten </li></ul><ul><li>businesses within the Middle East </li></ul><ul><li>Resides in Dorset, England and Dubai, UAE </li></ul><ul><li>Founded “ The Mowgli Foundation ” as a start up in 2008 </li></ul>
