Convergence Processing Screen capability and depth budget:  If parallax angle q > 1.5 degrees then L accommodation /convergence disagreement becomes difficult to view q  Based on horizontal resolution, pitch, user distance we can derive R maximum/minimum allowed parallax in display pixels, or depth budget Scene analysis extracts the parallax range within scene Display/Encode images with comfortable parallax  Left and right images are shifted horizontally with respect to each other so that the horizontal shift (i.e. parallax) is appropriate for the screen)© Copyright Movidius 2010
