Human Resources Consulting Services This service provides Express clients with an 8.5 x 11 electronic employee handbook that is client-specific and complies with state/provincial and federal requirements. Express clients can print out as many copies as they need or post to their intranet. It is recommend to clients purchasing this service to sign up for the HR hotline so they may receive ongoing support and updates on laws impacting their handbook. Employee Handbook Creation For a monthly subscription, Express clients receive access to a dedicated toll-free number where they can call and receive coaching on how to handle specific HR issues, ask general HR questions, discuss “best practices” or receive sample policies/forms. Hotline subscribers also receive an overview of state/federal employment laws, updates on significant changes in state/federal laws, a mini-audit/checklist to use in-house to evaluate current HR practices and identify questions for hotline calls, quarterly tips and updates, and access to “live” quarterly webinars on HR-related topics. Human Resources Consulting Services An easy to administer online performance management system that is easy to understand, offered at low cost, and provides a quick turn around review process. It provides 1) a more balanced and objective way to evaluate and compensate employees based on performance; 2) a gap analysis of the difference between employee self-assessment and supervisor evaluation of performance; 3) critical performance metrics to administer retention, compensation and bonus programs; and 4) employee feedback on supervisors and senior leadership performance. eFeedback This employee satisfaction survey allows companies to identify what is going well in their organization and what needs immediate attention. Express clients are then provided with a 6-step improvement process and treatment action plan.     • The HR audit will identify current practices that present potential liability within a company and teach Express clients good business practices and how to be sensitive to the many areas of exposure found in today’s workplace. Express currently has four levels of HR audits. (US only) They are:
    • Remote audit (4 hours of pre-scheduled conference calls) to include review of compliance-related issues such as: wage and hour, state-specific laws & regulations, and a general overview of the selection process and scope of legal accountability. Ongoing support is available via the HR hotline.
    • An onsite audit targeted at a specific area such as application process, I9s,
    • A one day onsite audit measuring all major HR areas of organizational life. Upon completion of the audit, our HR specialists will provide a written summary identifying areas of exposure and suggestions for improvement.
    • A one to two day onsite audit (depending on size of client) measuring all major HR areas of organizational life. Upon completion of the audit, our HR specialists will provide an extensive report identifying areas of exposure and suggestions for improvement. The report will include case studies, examples, sample forms, and a 30/60/90 day implementation plan.

  • 15. Human Resources Consulting Services Certain government contractors and financial institutions are required to have an Affirmative Action Program (AAP) in place. Express has a third party resource available to provide this service for our clients. (US only) Affirmative Action Plan Creation The Express Risk Management Specialists team will conduct a 1- 2 day on-site audit to assess the risks associated with client’s worksite and provide coaching to the designated safety contact. A written safety program is created to address production risks. Specific training modules are available as well. Registered Apprenticeship Training Provider The Irving Office is certified with US Department of Labor, Office of Apprenticeship, to offer apprenticeship training for Call Center/Customer Services Reps and Supervisors.
