  2. 2. What is it ?... Not Just Another “Ra-Ra Motivational Event”

Background <ul><li>Giant Impact , Atlanta, GA (www.giantimpact.com), working with co-founder and management author Dr. John Maxwell has hosted a “Leadership Simulcast” event for the past 11 years. </li></ul><ul><li>Based on an a historic goal of “promoting leadership development in the community as they do in business,” Chick-Fil-A has chosen to be the “national lead sponsor” of this major “community-based” event again this year. </li></ul><ul><li>The event is called: </li></ul><ul><li>“ Chick-Fil-A Leadercast 2011” </li></ul><ul><li>www.leadercast.com </li></ul>

Background (continued) <ul><li>As in the past, the event is being simulcast throughout the country to designated “host” sites (live from Atlanta). </li></ul><ul><li>An expected 70,000 leaders are expected to attend from 500 host sites in N. America. </li></ul><ul><li>Being closely aligned with Chick-Fil-A values on “leadership development” and “helping people succeed,” Express Employment Professionals in Irving has chosen to be a “host site for 2011. </li></ul>

Purpose of Event <ul><li>To develop leaders at all levels, positions and stages </li></ul><ul><li>To provide a high-quality and low-cost leadership development opportunity for companies/organizations and individuals at all levels. </li></ul><ul><li>Use event as opportunity to raise funds for a new Leadership Excellence Scholarship fund for Irving High graduating seniors </li></ul>
