The scheme takes the opportunity to transform the area, with a large new publicrun down Retail & Commercial Estate, on one of the square as the centre point of the scheme, whilst fulfilling key urban design objectives including a series of newmain approaches into Hove. The £50 million scheme for buildings along Sackville Road that recreate a missing part of the street to create a new townscape.Parkridge & La Salle is anchored by a foodstore, withfurther retail ( totalling 110,000 sq ft ), restaurants, The scheme meets Brighton & Hove’s challenging sustainability requirements, and includes extensive landscaped roofoffices, 180 residential units and a 520 space basement gardens.car park. Following completion of briefings to Councillors and an extensive public consultation the scheme will be submitted for planning approval in Q2 2008.
