  1. Are You A Match? Like hands-on training in a nationally accredited program? Like learning new technology? Like daily challenges? Like the transportation industry? Then you are a match for the Automotive Technology Program at Moultrie Technical College.
  2. Program Description The Automotive Technology program is a sequence of courses designed to prepare students for careers in the automotive service and repair profession. Learning opportunities develop academic, technical, and professional knowledge and skills required for job acquisition, retention, and advancement. The program emphasizes a combination of automotive mechanics theory and practical application necessary for successful employment. Program graduates receive an Automotive Technology diploma that qualifies them as well rounded entry-level technicians. This program is industry accredited through the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF) in accordance with Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) standards.

  4. Additional Program Requirements Students are required to purchase an automotive tool set upon graduation. Tools are required for employment at most job sites.
  5. Timeline The automotive technology program is currently 5 terms in length. Full-time day students can complete the program in 18 months.
