    • Intro - 4 It is evident that itrequires understandingto work with material of thisdescription, but those who comeinto this understanding, are inspired by:
    • Intro – 4.1•A new light,•A new force,•They gain confidence and greaterpower each day,•They realize their hopes and theirdreams come true,•Life has a deeper, fuller, clearermeaning than before.
    • 1.1That much gathers moreis true on every plane ofexistence and that lossleads to greater loss isequally true.
    • 1.2 Mind is creative. Conditions, environment and allexperiences in life are the result of ourhabitual/predominant mental attitude.
    • 1.3 The attitude of mind necessarily depends upon what we think. Therefore, the secret of ALL power ALL achievement ALL possessiondepends upon our method of thinking.
    • 1.4This is true because:We must "BE" before We can "DO"
    • 1.4.1 We can "DO"only to the extentwhich we "ARE"
    • 1.4.2 What we “ARE”depends upon what we "THINK"
    • 1.5We cannot express/manifest powersthat we do not possess. The only wayby which we may secure possession ofpower is to become conscious ofpower, and we can never becomeconscious of power UNTIL we learnthat all power is from within.
    • 1.6 There is aworldwithin
    • 1.6.1 A world of thought A world of feeling A world of power A world of light A world of life A world of beauty A world of although invisible, its forces are mighty.
    • 1.7The world within is governed bymind. When we discover this worldwe shall find the solution for everyproblem, the cause for everyeffect; and since the world withinis subject to our control, all lawsof power and possession are alsowithin our control.
    • 1.8The world without is a reflectionof the world within.
    • 1.8.1What appears without iswhat has been found within.
    • 1.8.2In the world within may be foundof all that is necessary, waiting forunfoldment | revelation, development and expression.
    • 1.8.2 If we recognize these potentialities inthe world withinthey will take form in the world without.
    • 1.9 Harmony Within Harmony In the world within will be reflectedIn the world without by:
    • 1.9.1 Harmony WithinHarmonious conditions,Agreeable surroundings,The best of everything.
    • 1.9.1 Harmony WithinIt is the foundation of health and anecessary essential to  All greatness,  All power,  All attainment,  All achievement and  All success.
    • 1.10 Harmony Within Harmony inthe world within means the ability:to control our thoughts, andto determine for ourselves howany experience is to affect us .
    • 1.11 Harmony Within Harmony in the world withinresults in optimism and affluence; affluence within results in affluence without.
    • 1.12 The world without reflectsthe circumstances and the conditions of the consciousness within.
    • 1.13 If we find wisdom in the world within, we shall have the understanding todiscern the marvelous possibilities thatare latent in this world within, and weshall be given the power to make these possibilities manifest in the world without.
    • 1.14 As we become conscious of the wisdom in the world within, we mentally take possession of this wisdom, and by taking mental possession we come into actual possessionof the power and wisdom necessary to bringinto manifestation the essentials necessary for our most complete and harmonious development.
    • 1.15 The Proving Ground The world within is the practical world in which the men and women of power generate by which they are GIVEN the fineintelligence to see the vision and thepractical skill to make the vision real.
    • 1.16.1 Life IS an unfoldment[Revelation, Unveiling, Coming Out]not accretion. What comes to usin the world without IS whatwe already possess/accept inthe world within.
    • 1.16.2Unfold/Unfolding/Unfoldment.. means
    • 1.17All possession IS based onconsciousness. All gain IS the result of anaccumulative consciousness. All loss IS the result of ascattering consciousness.
    • 1.18Mental efficiency IScontingent upon harmony;discord means confusion;therefore, he who wouldacquire power must be inharmony with Natural Law.
    • 1.19We are related to the worldwithout by the objectivemind. The brain IS The organof this mind and the cerebro-spinal system of nerves putsus in consciouscommunication with everypart of the body.
    • 1.19.1This system of nerves responds toevery sensation of : Light, Heat, Odor, Sound Taste.
    • 1.20When this mind thinks correctly,When it understands the truth,When the thoughts sent through the cerebro-spinal nervous system to the body are constructive,These sensations are pleasant, and harmonious.
    • 1.21The result IS that we build strength, vitalityand all constructive forces into our body, butit is through this same objective mind thatall Distress, Sickness, Lack, Limitationand every form of discord and disharmonyIS admitted to our lives. It is thereforethrough the objective mind, by wrongthinking, that we are related to alldestructive forces.
    • 1.22 We are related to the world withinby the subconscious mind. The solar plexus ISthe organ of this mind; the sympathetic system ofnerves presides over all subjective sensations, suchas: Joy, Fear, Love, Emotion, Respiration, Imagination and All other subconscious phenomena.
    • 1.22.1It is through the subconsciousthat we are connected with theUniversal Mind and broughtinto relation with the Infiniteconstructive forces of theUniverse.
    • 1.23 It is the coordination of these two centers of our being, and the understanding of theirfunctions, which is the great secret of life.
    • 1.23.1 With this knowledgewe can bring the objectiveand subjective minds intoconscious cooperation and thus coordinate the finite and the infinite.
    • 1.23.2 Our future is entirelywithin our own control. Itis not at the mercy of any capricious or uncertain external power.
    • 1.24 All agree that there is but one Principle or Consciousness pervadingthe entire Universe, occupyingall space, and being essentiallythe same in kind at every point of its presence.
    • 1.24.1It is all powerful, allwisdom and alwayspresent. All thoughtsand things are withinItself. It is all in all.
    • 1.25 There IS but one consciousness inthe universe able to think; and when it thinks, its thoughts BECOME objective things to it.
    • 1.25.1 As this consciousness is omnipresent, it must be present within every individual; each individual must BE amanifestation of that Omnipotent, Omniscient and Omnipresent Consciousness.
    • 1.26As there is only one Consciousness inthe universe that is able to think, itnecessarily follows that yourconsciousness is identical with theUniversal Consciousness, or, in otherwords, ALL MIND IS ONE MIND.There is no dodging this conclusion.
    • 1.27The consciousness that focuses inyour brain cells IS the sameconsciousness which focuses in thebrain cells of every other individual. Each individual IS but theindividualization of the Universal, the Cosmic Mind.
    • 1.28The Universal Mind IS static orpotential energy. It simply IS. Itcan manifest only through theindividual, and the individualcan manifest only through theUniversal. They are one.
    • 1.29The ability of the individualto think IS his ability to acton the Universal and bring itinto manifestation. Humanconsciousness consists onlyin the ability of man to think.
    • 1.29.2Mind in itself IS believedto be a subtle form ofstatic energy, from whicharises the activities called‘thought,’ which is thedynamic phase of mind.
    • 1.29.3Mind is static energy, thoughtis dynamic energy – the twophases of the same thing.Thought IS therefore thevibratory force formed byconverting static mind intodynamic mind.
    • 1.30As the sum of all attributes arecontained in the UniversalMind, which is Omnipotent,Omniscient and Omnipresent, these attributes must be presentat all times in their potentialform in every individual.
    • 1.30.1Therefore, when the individualthinks, the thought is compelledby its nature to embody itself inan objectivity or condition whichwill correspond with its origin.
    • 1.31Every thought therefore IS acause and every condition aneffect; for this reason it ISabsolutely essential that youcontrol your thoughts so as tobring forth only desirableconditions.
    • 1.32All power is from within, and is absolutely under yourcontrol; it comes throughexact knowledge and by thevoluntary exercises of exactprinciples.
    • 1.33It should be plain that WHEN youacquire a thorough understanding ofthis law, and are able to control yourthought processes, you can apply it toany condition; in other words, you willhave come into conscious cooperationwith omnipotent law which is thefundamental basis of all things.
    • 1.34The Universal Mind IS the lifeprinciple of every atom which is inexistence; every atom IScontinually striving to manifestmore life; all are intelligent, and allare seeking to carry out the purposefor which they were created.
    • 1.35A majority of mankind lives in theworld without; few have found theworld within, and yet it is the worldwithin that makes the worldwithout; it is therefore creative andeverything which you find in yourworld without has been created by youin the world within.
    • 1.36This system will bring you into arealization of power which will be yoursWHEN you understand this relationbetween the world without and theworld within. The world within IS the cause, theworld without the effect; to change theeffect you must change the cause.
    • 1.37You will at once see that this is aradically new and different idea; mostmen try to change effects by workingwith effects. They fail to see that this issimply changing one form of distressfor another. To remove discord, wemust remove the cause, and this causecan be found only in the world within.
    • 1.38All growth is from within. This is evident in allnature. Every plant, Every animal, Every humanIS a living testimony to this great law, andthe error of the ages IS in looking forstrength or power from without.
    • 1.39The world within IS the Universalfountain of supply, and the worldwithout IS the outlet to the stream. Ourability to receive depends upon ourrecognition of this Universal Fountain, this Infinite Energy of which eachindividual is an outlet, and so is onewith every other individual.
    • 1.40Recognition IS a mental process, mental action IStherefore the interaction of the individual upon theUniversal Mind, and as the Universal Mind IS theintelligence which pervades all space andanimates all living things, this mental action andreaction IS the law of causation, but the principleof causation does not obtain in the individual but inthe Universal Mind. It is not an objective faculty buta subjective process, and the results are seen inan infinite variety of conditions and experiences.
    • 1.41In order to express life there must bemind; nothing can exist without mind.Everything which exists IS somemanifestation of this one basicsubstance from which and by which allthings have been created and arecontinually being recreated.
    • 1.42We live in a fathomless sea of plasticmind substance. This substance ISever alive and active. It is sensitive tothe highest degree. It takes formaccording to the mental demand.Thought forms the mold or matrix fromwhich the substance expresses.
    • 1.43Remember that it is in the application alonethat the value consists, and that a practicalunderstanding of this law will substitute Abundance for poverty, Wisdom for ignorance, Harmony for discord and Freedom for tyranny, andcertainly there can be no greater blessingthan these from a material and socialstandpoint.
    • 1.44Now make the application: Select a roomwhere you can be alone and undisturbed; siterect, comfortably, but do not lounge; letyour thoughts roam where they will but beperfectly still for from fifteen minutes to halfan hour; continue this for three or four daysor for a week until you secure full control ofyour physical being.
    • 1.45Many will find his extremelydifficult; others will conquerwith ease, but it is absolutelyessential to secure completecontrol of the body BEFOREyou are ready to progress.
