Participating in Cultural Arts Game for LDS Young Women Manual #2 Lesson 45 Participating in the Cultural Arts

Inspired by the Cultural Arts Game I read on Sugardoodle
Developed this version for my Beehives (young women ages 12-13) on Nov 14 2010.
We played in 2 teams of 4 each (8 total)
There was a lot of energy, discussion and learning during the game. The girls LOVED the lesson
Afterwards we discussed the required Knowledge Value Experience #3 in Personal Progress

How to Play
Split the YW into 2 teams. Ask them to name their teams
Flip a coin to see which team goes first
Show the next slide (image only)
Team “A” confers and jointly agrees an answer. The teams have :30 to discuss and :30 to agree an answer (1 min total)
If Team A answers correctly, they are awarded +1 point. If they get it wrong, zero points
But, Team “B” can challenge if they don’t think Team A answered correctly.
If Team A gets it wrong and Team B gets it right, Team B is awarded +2.
If Team A gets it right and Team B gets it wrong, Team A is awarded +2 AND Team B gets -2
If both Team A and B get it wrong, there’s no harm, no foul. Zero points for both teams.
Have a treat that the winning team is given first choice and then give the other team the treat as well.
