  • 69. 6.8.14 Double Rate entry Additional settings• The function double entry is a safety function. It is intended to minimize the danger of entry error:• A delivery rate must be typed in twice in order to really set it. Only when the entries are identical it will be possible to start the infusion. 69

  • 73. 6.10.1 Alarm (pressure alarm) System overviewPressure inside the infusion system will be measured by amechanical pressure sensor system. This system moves a metal coreinside a coil. Graphic pressure alarm principleA change in inductivity will create an electronic signal which willbe changed in a digital information. During calibration of thepressure sensor limiting values will be measured and stored.In infusion mode there is a continuous monitoring and comparisonof rated value and current value. In case of deviation pressurealarm will be given. 73

An audible alarm sounds permanently.Infusion will be stopped (patient safe state).„Device alarm“ will be displayed in the LCD display.
