  • 12. Republic of the Philippines TARLAC COLLEGE OF AGRICULTURE xii Camiling, Tarlac INSTITUTE OF EDUCATION A TEACHER’S PRAYER Lord, help me to make of my Classroom a place where Love and learning come to life“The Home of Bright and Disciplined Future Teachers”
  • 13. Republic of the Philippines TARLAC COLLEGE OF AGRICULTURE xiii Camiling, Tarlac INSTITUTE OF EDUCATION Guide me in all that I do That I may strive Not so much to teach, As to awaken, Not so much to instruct But to inspire. Save me from the complacency Of readymade answer by An ever present of the Wonder of your creation. Above all, help me to give my pupils Love-a love gentle enough To touch, but firm enough To leave them room to grow And help me to give it now That they share it in the world in need of love. THE PRE-SERVICE TEACHERS’ CREEDI believe in the nobility and the dignity of the teaching profession and I feel it’s an honor and privilege to be considered as a future member. “The Home of Bright and Disciplined Future Teachers”
  • 14. Republic of the Philippines TARLAC COLLEGE OF AGRICULTURE xiv Camiling, Tarlac INSTITUTE OF EDUCATION I believed that as a future member, it is my duty to prepare myself for worthy membership, physically, morally, spiritually, socially, and emotionally. I believe that as a teacher my influence upon others will be great; therefore, I must continually assess my values in case, I don’t do what is right, which I shall. I believe that teaching is done largely by example; I must endeavor at all times to develop right habits of thinking, speaking and doing. I believe too, that whatever I desire to do and to become, with Divine Assistance and with earnest and honest effort, I can do and I can become a successful teacher. INTRODUCTION God is the center of everything. He is the first teacher in molding people inthis world. God has a purpose why I follow this track. “The Home of Bright and Disciplined Future Teachers”
  • 15. Republic of the Philippines TARLAC COLLEGE OF AGRICULTURE xv Camiling, Tarlac INSTITUTE OF EDUCATION Teaching is the noblest of all human endeavors, the greatest of all privilegesand the most sacred duty that one can undertake. It is the greatest work that canengage ones thought and invite the activity of man in the education of the young. Pre-service training is a great opportunity given to the interns to experience thereality of teaching and learning. This has something to do with the actual situation tohandle responsibility as their training ground in becoming a real teacher. It is themost challenging part of the curriculum because you are going to apply the theories, strategies and principles you had learned for three and a half years in the course. Practice Teaching is the stage to encounter unexpected problems in handlingindividual differences of the learners. Internship is exposing you to real life classroom setting where you are tested tobe a creative, effective, innovative and competent teacher. In my almost three months of existence of being a student teacher, I have donea lot of sacrifices and patience in order to survive many situations. There are timesthat I wanted to give up but my faith and perseverance still remained; that I can makeof because it is just a part of my chosen career. All the things I’ve learned in thisexperience would probably be my best weapon in the global battle arena calledemployment. Finally, a teacher is one who must be willing to serve others. Teaching is aspecial calling intended to those who deserve satisfaction from seeing others learnand grow. Educators say that teaching can be rewarding life work. “The Home of Bright and Disciplined Future Teachers”

Moreover, this gave the chance toexecute the teacher’s obligation of molding young minds and touching their hearts. “The Home of Bright and Disciplined Future Teachers”
