WEB 2.0 <ul><li>The term &quot;Web 2.0&quot; is commonly associated with web applications that facilitate interactive information sharing, interoperability,user centered design and collaboration on the World Wide Web. </li></ul><ul><li>It is a platform totally dependent on users which adds data to the database. </li></ul>

FEATURES <ul><li>Users can own the data on a web 2.0 and excercise control over that data. </li></ul><ul><li>Architecture of participation that encourages users to add value to the application as they use it. </li></ul><ul><li>Openness, freedom and collective intelligence by way of user participation, can also be viewed as essential attributes of Web 2.0. </li></ul>
  3. 3. TECHNOLOGY <ul><li>The client-side/web browser technologies typically used in Web 2.0 development are Asynchronous JavaScript and XML (Ajax). </li></ul><ul><li>Adobe Flex is another technology often used in Web 2.0 applications. </li></ul><ul><li>REST and SOAP. </li></ul>
