England. Agatha was educated at home and did not attend any school. She could read and write
by the age of five. During her childhood, she studied singing and took up piano lessons. When she
was a teenager, she took up horse riding. She married Colonel Archibald and they had one
daughter. She mainly wrote detective and mystery novels. In 1920, her first book The Mysterious
Affairs at Styles was published.
