Concept• Garage48 events were started in spring 2010 by 5 active members of Estonian Startup Leaders Club• Garage48 is for people to turn their ideas into working products and services within one weekend (48 hours)• The goal is to make a practical startup event o Demonstrate that devoted teams can turn an idea into a working prototype within 48 hours o Networking - to get to know new people and have fun o Start-up companies can be started with lean budget o Promote entrepreneurship and start-up culture

Garage48 event profile• Up to 100 participants preselected o Project managers / team leads o Marketing experts o Designers o Developers (UI/web, mobile, backend)• Starts 5pm Friday with idea pitches• Natural team formation• Implementation of the idea• 6pm Sunday – demonstration of results• Less talk more action!
