      • Unemployment is an issue
    • Despite skill development being a priority, it’s not yet the reality Solution ????
    • Leather industry contributes around 3% to the GDP
    • Centre of Excellence for Leather Skill Bangladesh Limited (COEL) Facilitated by Bangladesh TVET Reform Project International Labour Organization European Union
    • Facilitated by Bangladesh TVET Reform Project Centre of Excellence for Leather Skill Bangladesh Limited (COEL)
      • COEL is t he first legal entity of its kind in the Country.
      • An initiative of Industry Skills Council (ISC).
      • Not made for earning Profit.
      • Its goal is poverty reduction through creating Skilled Manpower linked to the industry.

    • 60,000 skilled labor is needed in this sector
    • A production line sitting idle is a loss.
    • A production line at half capacity is a loss.
    • We have what it takes to meet demand.
    • All we need is people who can use the tools .
    • Skilled manpower who can create magic. 
    • What can we do? 
    • Let’s unite for a solution It’s not alone, everyone has a role to play
    • Train the people and the country prospers.
    • Lets move forward to a better tomorrow…
