Elsőként az “Urban Planning I.” csapat mutatta be várostervezési projektjét, ami elsősorban a jelenleg érvényben levő belvárosi közlekedési rendszerben vezetne be módosításokat, a meglevő infrastruktúra minél nagyobb arányú felhasználásával. A pesti oldalon zöld és kék folyosókat alakítanának ki, amelyek növényekkel és vizes elemekkel kiegészülve könnyen felismerhető útvonalat nyújtanának a folyóhoz igyekvőknek. Emellett felmerült a gyelogos/kerékpáros híd, az utak lefedése, alagútba terelése, valamint a két rakparton futó autóutak meder alatti egyesítése is. Szó esett újfajta közterek, úszó platformok létesítéséről, amelyek olcsó, kevésbé tartós anyagokból (pl. fa) gyorsan megépülhetnének.

  • The  challenge •  The roads along the Danube create a barrier between the city and the river•  The challenge is to revitalise the river and the area around it•  In order to do that the barrier needs to be removed or overcome, and the people need to be led to the river
