    2. SoukProtection A fabric system to protect the public from bomb blasts. Detail: Zetix, an auxetic fabric that absorbs and disperses the energy from explosions without breaking. Detail: Flexible tethers such as traditional seatbelt webbing are shown to be superior to steel cables and chains in an explosion. Detail: Clasp locks easily into place. Plate can then be bolted to floor or ceiling. My concept was shortlisted for RSA Design Directions 2009 Public Places, Safer Spaces competition and was exhibited at the Home Office headquarters.
    3. SoukProtection A fabric system to protect the public from bomb blasts. Can be added to ...hotel foyers... “85% of blast injuries are nightclubs and bars... caused by flying glass.” Canopy protects ...and retail signage. from falling debris. The product protects the public by allowing air--but not debris--to pass through the layers of fabric. This lowers the air pressure involved to a more survivable level and helps prevent flying glass.
