3. Stage 2: StormingTeam members begin to realize the taskis different and/or more difficult than theyimagined. They become testy, blameful,or overzealous. Team members try to relysolely on their personal experience,resisting any need for collaborating withother team members.
4. Stage 3: NormingMembers reconcile competing loyaltiesand responsibilities. They accept theteam, the team ground rules (ornorms), and their roles within the team.
5. Stage 4: PerformingThe team settles down and performs asa team. Team members discover andaccept each others strengths andweaknesses. Also, they know their rolewithin the team.
