If so how do theycontrol the quality of these components?

Does the suppliermaintain adequate reserve stock of raw materials to safeguard itselffrom interruptions in the supply of materials? How is the supply ofraw materials quality inspected for quality?Does the supplier have complete testing facilities for the product inquestion? If not what alternative arrangement can be made if pre-shipment inspection is to be carried out?
  • 5. Supplier evaluation QuestionnairesHas the supplier executed an order for the product similar to theone being considered? If so the details of the order should beobtained?What is the financial standing of the supplier?What is the general attitude of the supplier’s management to thequality of its products? Are they confident to comply with theorder?Does the supplier have proper quality system in place?
