Lovely Moral Stories for Children Lovely Moral Stories for Children Document Transcript

    • Hello Children, Since from Class 10th, I was thinking to write, compile or edit some Moral Stories for my Beloved Students. Despite of writing many articles on Social and Educational context, Quotations and one Book cum Magazine; I forgot to write, what I once thought for Children. So here it’s, the real time Moral Stories for Children of ages 4-12. The collection of stories has been written, edited and complied very carefully, keeping in view the taste of enjoyment and coziness. Every possible step has been taken to use precise language. All the Morals have been beautifully written by me. You’ll find all new stories which you have never heard before. You can take these stories as your bed time favorites, to improve your reading practice/vocabulary, to enjoy different activities present in this book or it would help you to learn and explore the realities of your life. It will teach you Moral Lessons, while enjoying it. The first published book ever written, compiled edited by MUNIR for you all children. Few stories and poems, specially written by me for you all are also inclusive in this fun filled book. Isn’t it amazing! This is the first series of Moral Stories and I wish that you all would appreciate it. So children, grab your copy and keep your fingers cross. Are you ready…. Get set go--------------------- From, Munir-M-Sewani
    • I would like to thank Almighty Allah to give me the courage and confidence, to compile and write stories for children. It would not be possible for me to write stories for children with keen dedication without the support of my students. Lastly, I would like to thank every one in advance, who would read these stories. Regards, Munir.M.Sewani

    • One day long ago, some sailors set out to sea in their sailing ship. One of them brought his pet monkey along for the long journey. When they were far out at sea, a terrible storm inverted their ship. Everyone fell into the sea, and the monkey was sure that he would sink. Suddenly a dolphin appeared and picked him up. They soon reached the Island and the monkey came down from the dolphin’s back. The dolphin asked the monkey, “Do you know this place?” The monkey replied, “Yes, I do. In fact, the king of the Island is my best friend. Do you know that I am actually a prince?” Knowing that no one lived on the Island, the dolphin said, “Well, well, so you are a prince! Now you can be a king!” The monkey asked, “How can I be a king?” As the dolphin started swimming away, he answered, “That is easy. As you are the only creature on this Island, you will naturally be the king!” Moral

    • We may not believe someone who often tells lies, even when he tells the truth. So we should always speak truth and never lie. POEM Never Lie You Never Lie, If You Lie, Say Sorry Don’t Be Shy. Never Lie You Never Lie, Accept Your Mistakes, Don’t You Cry. Those Of Us Who Lie Always, Forever They Trap In A Maze. Now Listen To Me All Of You, I’d No Idea That What Would You Do, But I Have Got One Message For You. God Loves Those Who Are Truthful, He Create Us So Beautiful; But If We Lie, It Would Not Be Fine, Always Be True, Be Bright Like Sunshine. • A tortoise one day met a hare who made fun of her. “My, my, you move so slowly, you will never get far!” The tortoises, upset by the hare’s manner, said, “Let’s have a race and see who is faster.” The hare laughed and said, “You must be joking! But all right, we’ll see who reaches the other side of the hill first.” Off he ran, leaving the tortoise far behind. After a while, the hare stopped to wait for the tortoise to come long. He waited and waited till he felt sleepy. “I might as well take a nap,” he thought. “Even if she catches up with me, I can easily win the race.” So he lay down under a shady tree and closed his eyes. When the tortoise passed the sleeping hare, she walked on slowly but steadily. By the time the hare woke up, the tortoise was near the finishing line. He ran as fast as he could, but he could not catch up with the tortoise. MORAL: Slow and balanced can win the race of life. pphe aYW fdb Y¦b aYW `X Wc ec `X `ig

    • THE WOLF AND THE LAMB A lamb was grazing with a flock of sheep one day. She soon found some sweet grass at the edge of the field. Farther and farther she went, away from the others. She was enjoying herself so much that she did not notice a wolf coming nearer to her. However, when it jumped on her, she was quick to start demanding, “Please, please don’t eat me yet. My stomach is full of grass. If you wait a while, I will taste much better.” The wolf thought that was a good idea, so he sat down and waited. After a while, the lamb said, “If you allow me to dance, the grass in my stomach will be digested faster.” Again the wolf agreed. While the lamb was dancing, she had a new idea. She said, “Please take the bell from around my neck. If you ring it as hard as you can, I will be able to dance even faster.” The wolf took the bell and rang it as hard as he could. The shepherd heard the bell ringing and quickly sent his dogs to find the missing lamb. The barking dogs scared the wolf away and saved the lamb’s life. MORAL: The gentle and weak can sometimes be cleverer than angry and strong. Be gentle and be wise.
    • u ELLING THE TRUTH
    • Telling the truth is a very good habit. If you always speak the truth, you can save yourselves from lots of trouble! Here is the story of a man, who did a lot of bad things, but his promise to tell the truth saved him. This is a true story, so read it carefully. Once a man came to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and said, quot;Oh Prophet of Allah, I have many bad habits. Which one of them should I give up first?quot; The Prophet said, quot;Give up telling lies first and always speak the truth.quot; The man promised to do so and went home. At night the man was about to go out to steal. Before setting out, he thought for a moment about the promise he made with the Prophet. quot;If tomorrow the Prophet asks me where have I been, what shall I say? Shall I say that I went out stealing? No, I cannot say that. But nor can I lie. If I tell the truth, everyone will start hating me and call me a thief. I would be punished for stealing.quot; So the man decided not to steal that night, and gave up this bad habit. Next day, he felt like drinking wine, when he was about to do so, he said to himself, quot; What shall I say to the prophet if he asks me what did I do during the day? I cannot tell a lie, and if I speak the truth people will hate me, because a Muslim is not allowed to drink wine.quot; And so he gave up the idea of drinking wine. In this way, whenever the man thought of doing something bad, he remembered his promise to tell the truth at all times. One by one, he gave up all his bad habits and became a good Muslim and a very good person. MORAL: Make a promise: I shall always speak the truth.
    • HOLY PROPHET (PBUH) - THE MODEL OF GOODNESS Do you know that who is my favorite personality? Well, It’s none other than our beloved Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad(PBUH).The personality of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is the best examples to follow in our Life. Although Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) was the Prophet of Allah and had been appointed by Allah to guide the people, yet he was not ashamed of doing his work with his own hands. He assisted the members of his family in household work and performed the jobs of other persons with great pleasure. He mended his clothes and shoes. He also took part in the construction of “Masjid-al-Nabi” in Medina along with his companions. His dress was always clean, though simple. He was very mindful of cleanliness. He washed his hands and mouth before and after taking his meals. He was so kind and generous that he never refused any person who asks him for any help. He often distributed food among others and went without meals himself. He always helped the needy and the poor and went to the houses of the sick to enquire after their health. Whenever he met anyone, he greets them with smile. MORAL:
    • The Holy Prophet (PBUH) was a model for all of us. We can learn a lot of lessons from his life. He is the super hero of Muslims because, he possessed the noblest character. 1. Muhammad (SAW) had to pass that house daily on the way to the mosque. Even when the old woman threw rubbish on him, he would pass silently without showing any anger or annoyance. This was a regular, daily event. One day when Prophet was passing by the woman was not there to throw the rubbish. He stopped and asked the neighbor about her well-being. The neighbor informed the prophet that the woman was sick on bed. The prophet politely asked permission to visit the woman. When allowed he entered the house, the woman thought that he had come there to take his revenge when she was unable to defend herself because of sickness. But the prophet assured her that he had come to her, not to take any revenge, but to see her and to look after her needs, as it was the command of Allah that if any one is sick, a Muslim should visit him and should help him if his help is needed. The old woman was greatly moved by this kindness and love of Prophet. By the example of greatness of Muhammad (SAW), she understood that he was truly the Prophet of God and Islam was the true religion. She accepted Islam at once.

Soon he came to a vineyard. As he came nearer, he could see some bunches of juicy grapes. The fox looked carefully around him. He had to make sure that he was safe from the hunters. He decided to steal some before anyone came along. He jumped upwards but he could not reach the grapes. He jumped again as high as he could. He still could not reach them. The grapes were just too high for him! He was not ready to give up. He backed off, took some running steps and leapt into the air towards the grapes. Again he failed to reach them. It was getting dark, and he was getting angry. His legs hurt with all that running and jumping. At last he stopped trying. As he walked away, he said to himself, “I don’t really want those grapes. I’m sure they are too sour to eat.”

Yes children, this is the result of doing something MORAL:
    • MORAL: ALL ARE EQUAL AND PRECIOUS. PLURALISM Once, a new child got his admission in my class. He was from Afghanistan. When all the students saw him, they started hitting him and made faces as if, they had not liked him. Few of the students complained that he is a dirty boy. Few of the students even don’t want to sit with him. One of the brilliant student of my class complained, “Munir sir, this boy stinks, he has no proper clothes and smell comes from his clothes” I had one idea. I told all of the students that tomorrow I will tell you the solution. The next day when I came to the class, that student was sitting at the back. • “My dear students, In the same manner, this new student have worn torn clothe, smell comes from his clothe, but is it wise enough to throw him out of the class or tell him not to come to school from the next day. He is also human and ALLAH always guides us to help every one. If any of your brothers is in need, It’s our duty to help him. He is like your brother. All the students realized and felt sorry for their harsh behavior. They all shook hand with that student and the very next day, the students brought old clothes, books etc for him. I still remember that one of the students even brought soap, and taught him how to clean face and hands properly. Moral: We all are human isn’t it! Its our duty not to hurt any one. Its also our duty that if we find any poor child, we should help him and treat every one equally.
