08.08.2011 INTERNAL/EXTERNAL RELIEVING SECRETARYAS S M A N G Lt d – Man g a n e s e Di vi s i o n req ui r e th e servic e s ofR e l i e v i n g S e c r e t a r y a t th e i r B l a c k R o c k M i n e O p e r a t i o n s s i t u a t e d8 0 k m N o r t h W e s t o f K u r u m a n in th e N o r t h e r n C a p e .DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING: • Arrange, Organize and co-ordinate meetings of the Senior General Manager (SGM) and/or HOD’s; • Be familiar with all key issues and individuals the SGM is involved with; • Reply to correspondences on behalf of the SGM within delegated parameters of authority; • Deal with a wide variety of issues and people, Presenting him/herself in such a manner that his/her authority and expertise will be respected; • Co-ordinate the scheduling of the Mine’s Guesthouse; • Manage all office Filling; • Manage the office cleaning staff; • Arrange travelling and accommodation for the SGM • Manage the mine conference room and refreshments; • Receiving and directing visitors to the SGM and HOD’s; • Ensure that deadlines are met; • Administer the time and attendance of the SGM & HOD’s; • Maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times; • Ad hoc, any other reasonable duties as and when requested from time to time;MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • Grade 12 and • Secretarial Certificate, Diploma, N5 secretarial or any relevant tertiary qualificationsEXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS: • 1 to 3 years Secretarial experience and office administration • Experience as an Executive Secretary will serve as an added advantage; • Advanced computer literacy in MS Packages; • Planning and organizing; function professionally and effectively in a pressurized environment; Ability to multi-task; High level Executive Secretary duties; • Interact at Executive level. • Must speak Setswana English and Afrikaans • Experience as travel coordinator will be an added advantageThe candidate will be appointed on the condition of being certified medically fit as per Mine Health andSafety Act 29/1996.Preference will be given to applicants from previously disadvantaged groups to support the company’semployment equity plan.Appointment: Remuneration will be based on a rate per day.Interested applicants are requested to submit their CV’s with certified copies of qualifications to:HR Department, Assmang Limited, P.O.
