About Mícheál Ó Foghlú is spinning out from his former role as Executive Director Research of the TSSG in Waterford Institute of Technology to an exciting new start-up company FeedHenry. FeedHenry is a web-based platform for developing cross-platform mobile apps, that includes server-side business logic in the cloud. The development technologies are JavaScript, HTML(5), and CSS, i.e. standard web development technologies; yes that’s JavaScript for server-side scripting as well as the mobile app itself. Excellent overview of NIS evolution, and relevance in 2011 (a year ago) to national R&D policy, in this case in a Turkish context (last few slides of 45). Perhaps could benefit from wider view of theoretical environment embracing complimentary non-linear models such as Mode-2 and Triple Helix. My own work has analysed the use of these models in Irish policy: c.f. http://etheses.whiterose.ac.uk/1451/
