Built new business from analysis and insights from customer metrics: Spotted increasing web site visits by an audience segment (by finding pattern in IP addresses), and developed self-service tools for them to upsell themselves to additional products online. Moderated workshop for House Science Committee staff: I was recruited to educate the staff about varying needs and perspectives of academic, federal lab, enterprise and startup communities in regards to commercialization of scientific research. Analyzed and reinterpreted data: I normalized raw patent licensing and start-up data from universities and national laboratories, revealing that the “official” leaders were actually laggards.
