MONSTER HANGMAN With Hong Kong’s Andy Lau

How to play Monster Hangman:
On the blackboard, the teacher will draw some spaces to represent the letters in a secret word, for example _ _ _ _ _.
The class must attempt to guess the word by suggesting different letters. For example, ‘A for apple’, ‘S for sugar’…
If the letter is in the word, the teacher will write it in, for example _ o _ _ _. If the letter is not in the word, the teacher will click the Powerpoint and Andy Lau will step up towards the monster !
There are three levels – each with fewer steps towards the monster. Higher level classes can take it in turns to suggest words.
CLASS GAME: Each member of the class must suggest a letter.
TEAM GAME: Class is split into two teams. Each team must give letters. One point for each correct letter.

level 1

MONSTER HANGMAN LEVEL 1 Andy Lau! You are rubbish! I am going to eat you! The children will help me win!

MONSTER HANGMAN LEVEL 1 I can see you Andy! Ha ha! You cannot catch me!

MONSTER HANGMAN LEVEL 1 I can smell an Andy Lau! I smell like beautiful flowers.

MONSTER HANGMAN LEVEL 1 I will eat you for my dinner! I don’t think so, I am not scared of monsters!

MONSTER HANGMAN LEVEL 1 I’m feeling very hungry! Ha ha! You will have to eat vegetables!

MONSTER HANGMAN LEVEL 1 Time to eat you Andy! I will win, you silly little green man!

MONSTER HANGMAN LEVEL 1 DINNER TIME! AIYA!!

ANDY IS DEAD Hmmm delicious! WAAAAHH!!

level 2

MONSTER HANGMAN LEVEL 2 Ha ha! You will not win Andy! No! The children are very clever, I will win this time!

MONSTER HANGMAN LEVEL 2 I will eat you for breakfast! No! you can eat worms for breakfast Mr Silly!

MONSTER HANGMAN LEVEL 2 Andy Lau, you are so silly. But I am very beautiful.

MONSTER HANGMAN LEVEL 2 I can smell you! Time for lunch! You smell like a toilet!

MONSTER HANGMAN LEVEL 2 Two steps away from my mouth! The children will save me!

MONSTER HANGMAN LEVEL 2 Yum yum yum! OH NO!!!

Hmmm tasty! YOU KILLED ANDY LAU! OH MY GOD!

level 3

MONSTER HANGMAN LEVEL 3 HA HA HA! YOU ARE RUBBISH! You have a very big head!

MONSTER HANGMAN LEVEL 3 I CAN SMELL YOU! You smell very bad – clean your teeth!

MONSTER HANGMAN LEVEL 3 I WILL EAT YOU WITH VEGETABLES! I am too beautiful to die

MONSTER HANGMAN LEVEL 3 TWO MORE STEPS ANDY AND YOU ARE MINE! There is still time – I will win!

MONSTER HANGMAN LEVEL 3 DINNER TIME! Oh dear

ANDY IS DINNER! Hmmm spicy! AIYAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
