  • 4. Premium SMS      Suitable for any mobile phone The end user texts a keyword to a shortcode (eg: 4420) The user receives a Text Message in response. For receiving that Text Message, the user pays a specific amount. This payment will be charged via the user's monthly phone bill or via their pre-paid credit.  The Telecom Operator pays a portion of the amount to the service provider. 4

Mobile Content Billing  Mostly for smartphone only  For payment of digital content : a newspaper article, video, or other premium content or service.  Via mobile site, selects the content , pays, and receives immediate access.  The cost will be included on their monthly telephone bill.  Only for digital content / non physical content 5
