  • 2. FOUR BASIC RULES GOVERNING COVERAGE OF THE THREE UMPIRE SYSTEM
    • Rotation for the Three Umpire System is always clockwise.
    • Once a Base Umpire turns their back to the infield to go out to the outfield on a play, the umpire should remain outside until the play has been completed.
    • Once an umpire goes to the outfield you should revert to the Two Umpire System
    • Once the umpires start the basic position from a counter rotated position, there will be no rotation.

  • 6. 3B GOES OUT HP UMPIRE FOLLOWS RUNNER TO FIRST
  • 7. NO ONE GOES OUT RUNNER ON FIRST
  • 8. NO ONE GOES OUT RUNNERS ON FIRST & SECOND
  • 9. 1B GOES OUT RUNNERS ON FIRST & SECOND
  • 10. 3B GOES OUT RUNNERS ON FIRST & SECOND
  • 11. NO ONE GOES OUT BASES LOADED
  • 12. NO ONE GOES OUT BASES LOADED
  • 13. FLY BALL COVERAGE NOBODY ON BASE
  • 14. FLY BALL COVERAGE RUNNER ON 1B
  • 15. FLY BALL COVERAGE RUNNER ON 1B/ 2B BASES LOADED
