Classroom Procedures

  1. 1. Mrs. Oates’ Classroom Procedures Students are expected to be seated and working when the bell rings and until they have permission to be up. Students must come to class prepared with notebook paper, pencils and textbook. Students must follow all school rules at all times. Cellular phones and electronic devices will be taken up and turned into the office if they are seen or heard in my classroom. No eating, drinking, applying makeup or other personal grooming is allowed in class. Students are responsible for making up all assignments when they are absent. Regular attendance is important to keeping up with content and maintaining good grades. Student discipline is handled inside the classroom as much as possible. Disruptive students will be moved away from the group and given alternate work to do. This work may include re-writing classroom procedures for me. Students are referred to administration immediately for defiance of the teacher. Classroom procedures may change during the year in order to accommodate changes in school policy or changing classroom needs. Notice of procedure changes will be given to students in writing and verbal announcement.I have read the course syllabus and procedures, and I agree to follow them and support Mrs. Oates in enforcing theseprocedures.Student signature_____________________________________ Date____________Parent Signature ______________________________________ Date ___________Contact InformationStudent Name – Printed ________________________________ Cell (if applicable) ___________Student Email ________________________________________ Receive Texts?
