  8. BENEFITS•  Financial support covers majority of tuition, fees, books for up to 15 credits per year•  Small travel stipend•  Release time reimbursement
  9. BENEFITS•  Bonus •  Paid by T.E.A.C.H. •  After each contract year when nine credits completed •  Raise or bonus paid by center•  Increase in wages•  Earn promotions
  10. BENEFITS•  Reduced turnover increases continuity of care•  Well-educated professionals strengthen our child care system•  A strong system strengthens our state
  11. APPLYING SPECIAL GUEST Debra Behringer Family Child Care ProviderEarned associate and bachelor degree through T.E.A.C.H.
  12. ELIGIBILITY•  18 years of age or older•  High school diploma or GED equivalent•  Minnesota two- or four-year college with a early childhood education or child development degree program•  Work children for at least 15 hours per week/780 hours per year•  Stay at current employer for additional one year
  13. ELIGIBILITY•  For center program employees: •  Employed in current program for last six months •  Program is in Minnesota •  Financial support from program
  14. ELIGIBILITY•  For family child care providers: •  Current family child care license in Minnesota •  Operating under license for last six months
  15. ELIGIBILITY•  Over 40 Minnesota colleges and universities•  E-LECT (E-Learning for Early Childhood Teachers)•  Online = Concordia University in St. Paul•  Distance Learning = Southwest Minnesota State University
