Friendship: Takes you places you could never begin to imagine.

Friendship : The State of being Friends  Lucy O'brien and I met while I subbed in her classroom as a paraeducator and as her Substitute. One day she said "Lets run the race in Clear Lake!" I decided too. We signed up our kids and ourselves 2 weeks before the day. We raced on that windy Earth Day in April and found a new passion to fire a friendship for a lifetime. We have ran well over 40 races; some together, some separate. She has ran with my Father-in-law as well. I have gone on an trained for a half marathon knowing someday she will run one with me. It's not the race, nor the finish line, its the friendship.
