Client: Dept. for Transport (DfT)
Provision of Independent Land Acquisition (ILA) services and other advisory services to the
Secretary of State for Transport for the avoidance of Judicial Reviews on the project.
Services also include advice on Crichel Down Rules and complete business process
mapping to optimise DfT’s performance on land acquisition issues.
Project Brunel
2007 – 2008
Client: Dept. for Transport, Transport for London & London Development Agency
This was a strategic study into resource imbalances in the UK Transportation industry over
an 18 month period to December 2008. The resultant report is being used to brief ministers
and is helping to shape transportation policy.

Provision of Land & Property services associated with the acquisition and disposal of land
parcels for the project, as well as dealing with compensation claims at the Lands Tribunal,

Senior Commercial Manager for the contractor (EMCOR) responsible for all commercial
management functions associated with the system-wide mechanical & electrical installation
for the most recent extension of London’s underground rail network.
Mobil onshore gas plant (Beryl Field), St Fergus, Scotland
Senior Contracts Engineer for the EPC contractor (Parsons), responsible for procuring
£100m of engineering construction work, including site-wide civil engineering, pre-assembled
piping racks (PAU’s), electrical and instrumentation (E&I), heavy lift contract
Adgas Sulphur Project, Das Island, Abu Dhabi
Senior Contracts Engineer for the EPC contractor (Parsons), responsible for procuring all
engineering construction work for the entire project. Resposible also for all carrying out a
resources and capability report and drawing up the complete procurement strategy for the

Kalundberg Condensate Project, Denmark
Senior Quantity Surveyor for the commercial management consultant (Franklin & Andrews),
responsible for preparing bills of quantities for all piping and electrical and instrumentation
works, as well as subsequent commercial management and re-measurement of these work
packages.
Kollnes Onshore Gas Plant, Norway
Bid manager for the engineering works package contractor (Mercantile Engineering Co.,
Belgium).
