Description <ul><li>Wolf Spiders are large spiders growing up to 25mm. </li></ul><ul><li>Grey-brown in colour strips on their stomachs with lines which spread out from the middle of it’s head and thorax. (part of it’s body between the neck and the belly) </li></ul><ul><li>Eight eyes two large ones looking to the front, two smaller ones looking up, four small eyes below. </li></ul>
  3. 3. Food <ul><li>Wolf spiders eat </li></ul><ul><li>Flies </li></ul><ul><li>Mosquitoes </li></ul><ul><li>Crickets </li></ul><ul><li>Beetles </li></ul><ul><li>Other spiders </li></ul>
  4. 4. Where They Live <ul><li>Wolf spiders live under ground in a little burrow. </li></ul><ul><li>They make a door out of dirt and web to make it look like there is nothing there. </li></ul><ul><li>They can be found in open areas, grasslands and paddocks. </li></ul>
  5. 5. Their Web <ul><li>Wolf spiders don’t have a web because they live underground. </li></ul><ul><li>The only web they use is on the door. </li></ul><ul><li>The way they catch their food is by surprise, by jumping out of their burrow and stunning their prey. </li></ul>
