Wealthy Affiliate Scam Review - Presentation Transcript

    1. Developing A Search Engine Friendly Website Is Just As Important As Research Now I know that I have placed great emphasis on research, and it is for a very good reason. You see, without the proper research you don't have a profitable campaign to begin with. Furthermore, once you do find that profitable campaign, you need to develop a website that will be easily indexed by search engines... miss this step and you no longer have a profitable campaign! The key to this step is making sure you design and structure your website in a way that is well planned for any visitors, so it is easy to navigate, makes sense, and redirects to your affiliate page at the appropriate spots on your website. As we progress, you will see how your research phase actually integrates with the building phase... one can't survive without the other. My best guess is that if you are reading this, you already have bought a domain, and have some hosting to support your finished website. If you don't, then following any further with this course will be a waste of time. Without taking action, there simply is no money to be made. Just remember, that everything you need to get going may be found at the Wealthy Affiliate University, including such tools as Site Rubix to build your site. If you feel that you are not up to the Internet marketing lifestyle and just don't want to put the effort into setting up an automated income online, then please unsubscribe from this course as it gets even more hands on from here on in... I just don't want you wasting time on something if you don't plan to take action!
    2. Why Does Google Love Wordpress So Much? Firstly let it be known that it is a free blogging platform, and when I mention it here in these lessons, I am referring to the self-hosted wordpress that you install on YOUR hosting provider under your domain name. It's all very simple really... Google LOVES self-hosted wordpress websites (no-one knows why!) What we do know is that they do, and that's all we need to know. And the whole point is to make the sale at the end of the day. Let's take a look at some of the wordpress benefits: • It ranks better in search engines than most other website creation tools. • It's free to install and use on an unlimited amount of servers/domains. • Anyone can use it without knowing a line of website code language. • It's quick and easy to install, creating professional websites within minutes. • You can change the style to suit your target market with ease. • Wordpress is the future and is continually upgrading it's platform. • Updating your website may be done from anywhere with an internet connection. Obviously there are many more benefits, but that's enough to get you hooked. So whether you choose Site Rubix or Wordpress, I don't mind. Just pick one and stick to it as you will soon become an expert at pumping out profitable websites... at the click of a few buttons!
    3. I'm Sold On Wordpress! Now What? The reason wordpress actually works so well is because it is a blogging platform. Although, these days most people are using it to create normal websites, it was originally designed for bloggers. Excellent news for you as it was designed for EASY installation... that's your next step: Install Wordpress through your hosting provider! As mentioned in the previous lesson, I personally use BlueHost for all my hosting needs as they are efficient, and they are actually a preferred hosting partner for Wordpress. So when I login to my hosting account, it's as easy as clicking on the Wordpress Icon for quick installation. It might differ between hosts, so if you have any troubles... please contact support at your hosting company. Now You Need To Install Some Basic Plugins For Good SEO There are literally hundreds, if not thousands of plugins for wordpress. To be honest with you, most of them are absolutely garbage... so don't bother with them. All that you really need are 3 main plugins that do everything you need, and they are: 1. All In One SEO Pack 2. Google XML Sitemaps 3. GoCodes Right now, you don't actually need to know what they do as that will be covered very soon. For the time being, just login to your wordpress backoffice and “add new” plugins... then simply activate them. If you would like to change your theme, then the same process applies. With the Wordpress themes, they are for the most part awesome designs. Word of warning though, you need to make sure that the theme is symbiotic with your target market. So don't choose a flowery designed theme if you are selling car parts to mechanics... it just won't work!
    4. Are You Sure It's That Easy? Absolutely! This step is all about installing wordpress. Once you master that, then there is no turning back. Right now you have just installed the framework for your website, and soon you will be adding content... followed by promotion and those well deserved profits! Just to re-cap, this is what you have done so far: • Found a profitable niche; • Found a profitable keyword within that niche; • Bought a corresponding domain name; • Bought a hosting account for that domain; • Installed wordpress on your hosting account. Now that you have made it this far, the next lessons will cover different pre-sell techniques. So before you start adding any content to your website, you'll need to decide on how you will engage the desperate buyers and sell them on the offer BEFORE you re- direct them to the affiliate page, where they can then make a purchase (and you collect your commissions). I'd love to go into more detail, but all will be revealed soon... To Your Success! Wealthy Affiliate Scam Review
