Wealthy Affiliate Scam Review - Presentation Transcript

    1. Choosing Your Pre-Sell Tactic And Writing The Content This will be one of your longest lessons, because just like research, having a killer pre-sell is essential to creating a successful campaign. Having covered mostly practical lessons thus-far, you will now focus a little more on the theory before you get back to taking action. What Exactly Is Pre-Selling? Put simply, it's an art worth your learning. Not only is it an art to get your website visitors to click your affiliate link, it is equally important to have them in the right frame of mind to make a purchase. If you get good enough, your visitors won't even bother reading the merchants sales page, instead they'll be frantically searching for the 'BUY NOW' button. Why Is Pre-Selling So Important? If you think about it, the only thing that separates a buyer from a browser is your content. Everything from your website layout, design, words, colours, images, and even videos. Great content is still key, and could mean the difference between a 20% conversion rate, or 0.5% conversion rate. I've seen conversions even lower than that, and higher too! What I'm eluding to is that your pre-selling is extremely important and will have an immense effect on your income. Need I say more?
    2. So What Are The Basic Principles Of Pre-Selling? This all ties in with your research phase, because once you know your target market, you then need to understand them. The better you understand what triggers your target market emotionally, the more relevant your pre-selling will be, and the higher conversions you will experience. So in order to understand your target market, ask these questions: • Who are they? • How old is the average searcher? • How experienced is the audience with the internet? • Why are they searching for the keyword? • What problem do they have and what are the negatives surrounding it? • What do they want? • Are they searching for a review? • Do they require some general information? • Would they prefer a guide to solve their problem? The most important question you could ask is: “What do they want?” … it doesn't matter how good your sales tactics are, if you don't deliver the goods, you've just lost another visitor because your website doesn't give them the information that they are looking for. Internet users are impatient, and if what they are searching for isn't easy to find, they'll just visit another site... and make a purchase through someone else. Essentially your pre-selling goal should be to answer their initial question, and soft-sell them on the solution in a way that compels them to make a purchase. So for your domain and keyword selection, jot down the answers to the above questions in order to understand what your desperate buyers needs are, then you may move on and develop some content for them!
    3. How About A Practical Example Of Pre-Selling? For this example the Internet user has typed: “AllXClub Review” into Google search function. From this alone, we can see that the user is using a product name, so they are actively searching for a HIGH QUALITY review before they go ahead with the purchase. Now we know the user doesn't want a biased review that doesn't actually answer any of their concerns, they want to find a real review, and they will keep searching until they find it, read it, and click on that marketers affiliate link to make the purchase. Since AllXClub isn't a simple weight loss product, and an actual business opportunity that people are already earning thousands of dollars a month with, the user is searching for information that will help them decide whether or not they can do it too. So it NEEDS to... ...Answer Their Concerns! In this case, they are also actively searching for a team that is professional and can help them succeed with AllXClub, so it needs to look and feel professional. You can't pre-sell them with a scrappy website, it needs to be a package that includes interactive content, so graphics, great content, and even videos are great tools to help you pre-sell the user. So you would immediately present them with an in-depth and unbiased review of the AllXClub business opportunity. You want to cover the important issues that are usually associated with a home business opportunity, then deal with certain important aspects that are critical to AllXClub, guiding them through the process in a manner that answers most but not all their questions. Throughout the review, you want to present them with easy opportunities to click on your affiliate link and get the rest of the details, before they make a purchase and join your team. Keeping it informational without any pressure to join is your best bet for this review. Click Here For An Example AllXClub Review That Converts
    4. Deciding On Your Angle Of Attack Elaborating on the “What Does The User Want?” question, you need to successfully capture the users attention, so your pre-selling style is important to consider. So if the user is searching for a review, give them exactly that... you'll lose them if you give them a comparison or story pre-sell. Some Useful Links • Forbidden Psychological Tactics • Amazing Sales Persuasion
    5. Review Website There are 2 types of review websites, one that compares a few different websites and then has a clear winner that you want the user to click through to and make a purchase on. But the main one that you will deal with will be the single product review, especially if you are targeting popular products such as AllXClub where people are actively searching for a review on THAT product. As explained above in the example, your review website will have a single, honest review right at the top of the website in full view of the viewer. There is no need to become a salesman here, all you need to do is provide the relevant information and some cloaked affiliate links. Forget about those tacky 5 star ratings, just focus on quality content that compels the user to read on. Depending on the product you are reviewing, you will need to decide if the user is interested in a long and elaborate review, or a quick short factual one. I usually opt for the longer reviews with more content as I can explain the points and add some extra material that is relevant, you usually only get one chance at converting that visitor, so do it right! In your review, you should try and involve the emotions of the reader by establishing a relationship which leads them to trusting your final verdict. If you really want to up the ante and sell the reader, it's OK to do so at the end of the review once trust has been established. A word of note, there is an exception to when I will actually use a short review, and that is usually when I am selling a physical product that gets shipped via mail. In that case, I would present all the facts about the product as a list of benefits and then re-direct them to the purchase page. Maybe a quick comparison with an inferior product to highlight the benefits, but that's all. Use your better judgement and test as you go, remember that nothing is set in concrete. The beautiful thing about Internet marketing is that you can refine every campaign to squeeze more and more conversions out of the one campaign. If you are prepared to improve your campaigns, over time you can easily increase a 1% conversion rate to a 20% conversion rate!
    6. Story Website This type of pre-selling style is better suited to websites that are targeting general keywords, so they are not product related and may cover questions such as “Best Way To Get Rid Of Acne”, and “Best Way To Build Muscle”, and “Best Way To Make Money Online”, etc... The structure is a little different, but as all content, your intro needs to get the reader interested. Then start by writing about the negatives surrounding the main problem in order to identify with the reader. Then continue by explaining all the things that you have tried, but didn't work. And then finish off with the killer message of what did work for you, but be sure to include at least one or two points that you didn't like about the product to make it more believable. Then re-direct them: Example: I hope you found this information useful, you can click here to check it out. There are no secrets to pre-selling with the story telling website, just make sure that you keep it interesting, make it sound like you've been in the readers shoes (good research will help you do that), and keep it concise as not to bore the reader to death. Let's take a closer look: • Keep it interesting by using short, powerful sentences that leave clues to the fact that you did find a solution, but won't reveal it until the end of the story. • Create trust by relating to the reader and letting them know that you used to be just like them, and that you know exactly what they are going through. • Keep it concise, but don't forget to tell a detailed story. A story that is too long will result in unread parts, and the user will click your affiliate link without being pre- sold! A deadly no-no that will decrease your conversion rate. This pre-selling method works best in markets where you can give the reader a tip on something, especially if the keywords include the phrase “how to”. A “how to” answers their question and simultaneously serves to get them interested, increasing their trust with you because you actually know what you are talking about. Using this method, you need to build rapport.
    7. Choosing Suitable Themes For Your Website So by now you know what angle of attack you are going to take, the important characteristics of your target market, and now it's time to choose your theme. The most important thing to remember is that your theme should reflect your overall theme of the site. You won't have much luck with a flashy website selling to elderly women... just remember that CONGRUENCE is the key! Your theme must be congruent with the rest of your sites content. Your aim is to convert the maximum number of visitors to buyers, as opposed to winning some lustrous design awards. For the vast majority of niches, it's better to keep things as simple as possible. Here are some tips: • Have a small header because your visible section of the website above the fold is extremely valuable, your reader will get an instant impression, give quality content. • Clean and simple so the content is easy to read works wonders. Sometimes you will add a sidebar for links, sometimes not... just use your own judgement here. • Review websites need to look professional, so follow the rules for such an outcome. • Story websites need to look personal, so something even simpler will do. That's all for now! Do your research and develop your angle of attack because the next lesson will show you exactly how to structure your website for Google domination. To Your Success!
