Wealthy Affiliate Scam Review - Presentation Transcript

    1. Setting Yourself Up For Google Domination Just to make sure that you are on track, I quickly want to make sure that you have completed the following tasks that previous lessons have covered: • Researched your niche and keywords • Decided on a product to promote • Bought a domain name and hosting for your website • Installed your plugins and relevant theme • Decided upon your pre-sell angle of attack As you can see, it's all very simple stuff. I know a lot has been covered, especially if you have no prior knowledge, but pump out a few profitable websites and it quickly becomes second nature. Pump out a few more and you'll have a nice system in place. If you still haven't taken action, I'd suggest you visit the official Wealthy Affiliate University website to find out how their 8 week action plan may help you take that initial leap of faith. Just as you walk, Internet marketing requires you to take one step followed by another... if you don't take any steps then you never get anywhere, and life simply passes you by.
    2. Why Is Site Structure So Important? As you have probably noticed, I always give you a simple answer that relates to Google somehow. This is exactly the same for having a proper site structure, because Google likes to see certain things on websites to give them priority rankings, and having them is good for overall SEO. Now, there is no magic bullet for these things as algorithms do change and are kept under lock and key. What this means is that SEO basically becomes a guessing game, luckily I have already guessed and have found a winning combination that should work for you. Keep in mind that everything is left to your discretion, I personally don't always follow my rules to the “nth” degree, but mould my website to the niche and target market. So if you had a look at the AllXClub Review landing page, you will probably notice some areas that I have neglected for a very good reason... I just didn't feel it to be necessary! Here is a short list of what Google likes to see: • Privacy Policy • Contact Page • About Me Section • More Than One Blog Post • Incoming vs Outgoing Links • Optimised Content • Steady Traffic
    3. So What Should Your Site Structure Look Like? Keeping things nice and simple again, here is what a standard website targeting your main keyword will include, remember that good content is key: • 1st blog post relating to the topic of the website, no more than 500 words needed; • 2nd blog post relating to the general niche, a nice article would do the trick; • 3rd blog post being YOUR pre-sell, whether it be a story or review pre-sell; • About me page with a little about yourself or your “pre-sell character”; • Contact page with an email address and phone number, or something similar; • Privacy policy that you can just copy and paste from any website; • An extra page with another related article and a link out to a Youtube video. When structure like this, Google will love you, and so will your readers as they are getting information that build trust, as well as seeing the content they want immediately. Let's take a look at each page in a little more detail now: • Home Page – This is where your 3 blog posts will be seen, make sure you add your blog posts in the order described above so that your pre-sell post is at the top of the page. This is important because people will see that first, and that's what you want. • About Me – This needs to be brief and straight to the point, just make sure there is an image and a short story about why you created your website. Some people are curious cats and would like to know the motivation behind your efforts, tell them. • Related Article Page – This page is for extra SEO and a little method that helps you get indexed and ranked faster on Google. A simple step with great benefits! • Contact Page – Give people some details as it builds trust and credibility. • Privacy Policy – Either copy and paste one or make up something at least 100 words in length, Google will be happy just as long as you have one.
    4. Striking A Happy Balance For Viewers And Search Engines Obviously your goal for the viewers is to write quality content, so they read and/or view your pre-sell, before ultimately buying whatever you are promoting. And dominating Google is another goal you have, although that goal is better known as: “optimising for the search engines”. This will bring you the FREE traffic! You've already covered a lot of this, but now it's time for you to learn the importance of a nice balance... and it all starts by including your main keyword, and related keywords all throughout your website in one way or another. The trick is not to spam your pages like crazy with your keywords, because then your readers won't stay around for very long, but you do need a large chunk of your content to include your main keyword and related keywords. That's the big secret of balancing your content for search engines and human readers, use your keywords a lot and make it readable for people. It's all about getting the keyword count up, without spamming your main keyword... Google knows when you are spamming, but love it when you include many related keywords to your main keyword. This is commonly referred to as “keyword variance”. Due to the high levels of spam, and the fact the SEO climate is getting ultra competitive, Google also places massive emphasis on synonyms, or related keywords. Google basically looks at all of the keywords on your website, pairs the similar keywords up to develop clusters, then uses the biggest cluster of keywords to help determine the topic (main keyword) of your website. So I hope you can see the value of using many related keywords in your content.
    5. LSI (Related) Keywords So as you now know, the use of related keywords (keyword variances) within your content will help you dominate page 1 of Google. These related keywords are a form of backup for your main keyword, helping the search engines understand what your main keyword is. Finding out what the related keywords are is easier than taking candy from a baby. You could probably guess them, but you want the MOST related keywords to give you the best ranking boost you could possibly get... so don't miss this step! Google is your best friend once again, because they actually lay out the keyword variances for you in order of importance, relating to any root keyword. Here are the steps: • Go and access the Google Keyword Tool; • Type in your main keyword and click search; • Your results will display many other keywords; • These keywords are your keyword variances; • And YES, they are sorted in order of importance. By rule of thumb, be sure to use anywhere between 10 and 20 keyword variances throughout your content, as this will ensure your website doesn't get flagged as spam. Using these keyword variances will also help you naturally rank for obscure and unique terms people may be searching within your niche, providing you with even more FREE traffic... BONUS! Your next lesson will cover a few of the technical things you should be aware of when setting up your website, so be sure to go find some related keywords and start drafting your content. You already have all the information that you need, time to take action. To Your Success! Wealthy Affiliate Scam Review
