Wealthy Affiliate Scam Review - Presentation Transcript

    1. Placing Affiliate Links To Maximise Conversions The most important task of your site is to get your visitors to click on your affiliate links to make a purchase on the merchant's site. In even simpler terms, if your visitors don't click on your affiliate links, you don't get paid! Three integral parts of linking include your actual placement of affiliate links, your call to action, and the format of the affiliate links. Getting the right combination will no doubt increase your conversion rates, and your goal should be to get the highest conversion rate possible. Having tested many combinations, I will show you the highest converting combination I have found when using a theme with a sidebar. You are free to use your own link structure, and adapt the current one to suit your needs, and by all means contact me if you discover a combination that converts like crazy (leaving no money on the table).
    2. Where Should You Place Your Affiliate Links? Simply follow these instructions and place your affiliate links in the following places if you want to earn the most amount of money, without increasing traffic: • Text link at the top of your review; • Text link in the middle of your review after mentioning a huge benefit in bold; • Text link at the end of your review in a big and visible manner; • Text or banner link on the sidebar above the fold; • Maximum of one more text link in your other posts (not necessary though).
    3. What Call To Action Should You Use? Using a call to action makes your affiliate links look more attractive, as does cloaking them, which you will learn in just a minute. But first, let's look at using call to action when linking to the merchant's website where the sale is made. Believe it or not, the call to action used will once again affect your conversion rate considerably. Impatient people immediately search for the links, so make them good! The best method is to cleverly use a testimonial as your call to action: • Click Here To See How I Finally Solved The Problem • Click Here To Discover How I Get Google Ads For Free • Click Here To Visit The Official Product Site • Click Here To See The Program That Finally Cured My Acne • Click Here To See The Product You want to make sure that if the visitor isn't thinking, you tell them exactly what to do, in this case “Click Here”. It's a simple order to follow and works wonders to get more clicks, for the simple fact that subconsciously, we are all programmed to follow an order. There is no right answer as to what call to action must be used, but the above are general sentences that work well, feel free to adapt them to your style of writing. Word of note though, never ever sell the viewer by telling them to “Buy Here”, many internet marketers do it, but I have found that a simple “Click Here” is all that is needed because there is no pressure for the viewer to buy, giving them the piece of mind that if they choose to buy, they made that decision!
    4. What About Correctly Cloaking Links? Cloaking ugly and hard to remember affiliate links is common practice, and quiet easy to accomplish. Link cloaking will not only improve the amount of clicks you receive, but it will also help against preventing affiliate link theft. Ugly Affiliate Link: http://www.allxclubstrippoker.com/teaser2/ashley.php?m=1740901 Cloaked Affiliate Link: http://onlinepornbusiness.com/go/poker/ Link cloaking has worked wonders in my experience and has helped increase conversions, and therefore warrants the extra few minutes actually needed to cloak your links. Having said that, I obviously am strongly recommending you do exactly that! I'm not going to cover all the ways that you may cloak your links, and since I have been showing you how to set-up a wordpress blog/website, I will show you how to cloak your links via wordpress. If you are using a service such as SiteRubix, then just reply asking for help and I will show you how to cloak your links a different way which is just as effective. So for you wordpress users, here are the steps: • Login to your wordpress backoffice; • Navigate to tools section; • Click on 'GoCodes' (you should have installed this plugin earlier); • Choose your 'Redirection Key'; • Add your 'Target URL'; • Choose to track the hits; • Click on 'Ad Redirect' and you are done! Click Here To Watch A Quick Video Showing You How To Use GoCodes Properly
    5. Any Final Thoughts On Placing And Cloaking Affiliate Links? First and foremost, be sure to use your cloaked links when linking to the merchant's website, it's a simple re-direct to your affiliate website where you are credited for the sale. So whenever you want to add a link to your pre-sell page, add your cloaked link as opposed to the ugly affiliate link. There's a reason all top internet marketers do it, because is improves conversions! You are almost complete with creating your website, adding your content comes next, and then all the fun marketing campaigns may begin to dominate google and create an ever increasing flow of traffic to your website... fattening your wallet.
