Wealthy Affiliate Scam Review - Presentation Transcript

    1. Research… Research… Research… Before we get to the essentials and the fun part, I must let you know that most websites I build are based almost entirely around one keyword phrase, and are well above standard 1% conversion rates. Doing so allows me to focus with laser sharp accuracy on the target market, and makes life easier than saying you’re A-B-C’s when it comes down to getting ranked on page 1 of Google, and that should ultimately be your goal for free traffic. This is the key ingredient to an automated income! Now the reason that so much time goes into the research phase, is the simple fact that choosing a “bad” keyword will make you no money at all. On the other hand, a “good” keyword will see you in profit for months and years into the future. Let’s take a look at what characteristics a good keyword has: • There must be products on the market associated to the keyword. If there are no products to re-direct people to, then what sort of money are you expecting? • Your keyword should be easily marketed to. So essentially your keyword is based around a problem or a solution that people would spend money on. • Monthly search volume on Google should ideally be a minimum of 2,000 and a maximum of infinity. Although the higher the number, the more competitive. • Speaking of competition, a low level of competition is ideal. Usually no more than 10,000 “exact” competing pages, otherwise you might not rank on Google page 1. Now that you know the basics, it is important that you understand what all this means. Your success with Internet marketing relies solely on your ability to conduct the proper research and launch campaign after PROFITABLE campaign.
    2. Products Matching Desperate Buyer Needs As mentioned above, there must be products on the market associated to the keyword. If there are no products to re-direct people to, then what sort of money are you expecting? If you don’t know yet… absolutely none, nada, nothing! The quick method to see if your niche is going to be profitable, would be do a quick search on Google and see how many competing Adwords ads are for the term. If there are many, then that is a good sign that people are already making money. Why? Because these Internet marketers pay top dollar to have their tiny ad clicked on by the consumer, and they won’t be in business too long if they are not earning money. There are many other ways to determine whether or not there are products on the market that cater for your desperate buyers, too many to mention here. At this stage though, you just want to make sure there are products on the market that hungry and desperate buyers are spending money on. Lot’s of times I will simply choose a product that is selling like crazy, and then build my campaign around that niche or sub-niche. There really is no better way!
    3. Keywords That Are Easily Marketed To Now that you know what sort of products you may promote within a particular niche, you need to zero in on the money keywords before making a decision. As mentioned above, your keyword should be easily marketed to. So essentially your keyword is based around a problem or a solution that people would spend money on. This will most likely discount the word FREE as that is not a buying word; you need to find people on the verge of buying for this to work. This brings us to what we Internet marketers like to call “browsing keywords”. These are generally very vague and untargeted, so they are not what you are looking for. Some examples include: cars, weight loss, make money, etc… So naturally such keywords will be almost impossible to rank for, and they are not buying keywords, they are browsing keywords, so don’t bother with them! By rule of thumb, your keywords must be related to buying words, and/or are closely related to what the product offers. Long tail keywords are generally better as they are laser focused to your target market, and the average monthly search on Google should be a minimum of 2,000 desperate buyers.
    4. Lots Of Desperate Buyers Searching On Google As mentioned above, monthly search volume on Google should ideally be a minimum of 2,000 and a maximum of infinity. Although the higher the number, the more competitive. It’s your job to find a happy medium! Any less than that and it probably won’t be worth your time to base a whole website around, leave the smaller searched keywords for article marketing. Your keyword research is probably the most important part of your campaign, so don’t cut any corners or your back pocket will suffer. My personal rule that I apply to my Internet marketing campaigns goes a little something like this: “For every hour that I research, I earn a potential $100,000… so if I do 10 hours of research I will make a minimum of $1million for that particular campaign… and it will be on autopilot, so don’t be LAZY and do the work now to reap the rewards later… if this bothers you then quit Internet marketing altogether!” The above statement is actually stuck on my wall in my study on an A3 piece of paper, on my fridge, and in my walk-in wardrobe. I do this to continually remind myself of how important it is to do the proper research, and my results speak for themselves. Unfortunately I am only human and complacency or laziness can get the better of me at times, so I simply walk away and get back to it later. This prevents any costly rushed decisions. I suggest you do the same as I learnt the hard way, so learn from my mistakes. Just remember not to be lazy with your keyword research, and keep searching until you find the awesomeness that you are looking for. That awesomeness is the golden ticket, reason being, many will quit well before they dig deep enough, leaving untapped millions for those with the patience and persistence! Before launching a campaign and finalizing your keyword, ask yourself this question: Will desperate buyers still be searching this term for years to come? That is the perfect way to determine if you have done the proper research, because if people will forever be searching your keyword… your website will forever be right there for them to navigate to and make a purchase through. Every now and then you will need to boost your SEO to stay on page 1, but the work is minimal if you know how… I’ll talk more about that in further lessons where I reveal all the overlooked secrets of SEO. Let me give you some numbers from a website that is still making me money to this day, it is a smaller amount than my recent additions, but if you consider the power of duplication, the numbers add up very nicely! • 2,300 visitors • 29 customers • $42 dollars a sale • $1,218 in total monthly profit As you can see, that adds up nicely over the year for a decent chunk of change. What if YOU had 10 sites with those figures? Anyway, moving on…
    5. Low Number Of “Exact” Competition On Google As mentioned above, a low level of competition is ideal. Usually no more than 10,000 “exact” competing pages, otherwise you might not rank on Google page 1. There are obvious exceptions, especially if you use some of my SEO techniques revealed in future lessons, but let’s stick to the easy pickings for now. Quiet often people mistake my sites as being black hat, or illegal in nature, and claim that I am somehow cheating the system to rank on page 1 of Google each and every time… more often than not on the TOP spot! If that were the case, I would be permanently banned from Google for all “illegal” sites, but I’m not, so it goes to show that I am doing something right. The main reason my technique works so well is because I provide relevant content to desperate buyers, and Google is all about relevancy as they only want to promote the sites that will help internet browsers, not some spam sites. Getting back to the level of competition, no more than 10,000 “exact “ competing pages, that way you can build your experience at creating money making sites, and then expand to more competitive terms once you learn some SEO tricks. Get the basics right and the rest will fall into place as your experience grows. Now what is “exact”? Practically, it’s the EXACT amount of pages that you are essentially competing with to rank on page 1 of Google. To find out, simply type your “profitable keyword term” on Google search, including the quotations! Follow that as the general rule of thumb, although sometimes it will be inaccurate due to authority sites dominating page 1 of Google, ALWAYS use your common sense though and check that out before making the final keyword decision. The last thing you want to do is compete with 10-year-old authority sites with massive respect from Google; trying to rank above them is suicide. Don’t get too hung up on all this, as you’ll quickly come to recognize what is what with a little experience under your belt. The main thing is to take action and to earn as you learn, and 6th spot on page 1 of Google is better than no spot at all!
    6. In Conclusion Finding a profitable niche, a profitable target market, and associated profitable keywords is the first part to setting up a successful Internet marketing campaign. It doesn’t matter if you are promoting Twitter Cash as an affiliate, AllXClub as a distributor, or even your own physical product you manufacture in the basement. The same guiding principles remain; Research… Research… Research! So far, you have discovered what attributes you should be looking for when researching your opportunity. It’s a combination of hungry buyers, profitable products to promote, keywords related to buying/problems/solutions, a moderate amount of search engine traffic, and acceptable levels of competition. I suggest you revise this lesson and play around a little to see what you can come up with. The next lesson will cover in DEPTH, exactly how I do it, and how you can copy my every move to discover your own successful Internet marketing campaigns like clockwork. You know what they say: “Give a man/woman a fish and he’ll/she’ll eat for a day, teach a man/woman how to fish and he’ll/she’ll eat for a lifetime!” To Your Success, Wealthy Affiliate Scam Review.
