3. What does it mean?
They show you are doing something to someone else.
• Je te regarde.
• Il me parle.
• Elles nous invitent au concert.
• Je vous achète des billets pour le film.

4. Notes
Object pronouns show us that the action is happening to
someone other than the subject.
• me (the action is happening to me)
• te (the action is happening to you)
• nous (the action is happening to us)
• vous (the action is happening to you all)

5. Exemples: Affirmatif
1.Je te regarde. I am looking at you.
2.Il me parle. He is talking to me.
3.Elle nous aime. She likes us.
*Object pronouns come before the verb that is
happening to it.
*The verb is still conjugated for the subject.

6. Exemples: négatif
Je ne te regarde pas. I am not looking at you.
Il ne me parle pas. He is not talking to me.
Elle ne nous aime pas. She doesn’t like us.
