  13. 13. Sh@rebox is a collaborative consumption product that allowsresidents in a community to lend, borrow, or trade items witheach other via a smart locker system. It has a physicalelement, a set of modular storage lockers, where peoplemake the exchanges and a tech platform that manages theinventory and makes the process quick and easy.Sunday, May 12, 13
  14. 14. In essence, Sharebox exists to helps peoplemake better use of what they already haveso that they don’t need to keep all sorts ofstuff in their homes. This means that they cantake up less space. It also helps people getaccess to the things they need sooner, whichmeans they’ll be less tempted to just drive tothe store to get it.Sunday, May 12, 13

  17. 17. SH@REBOX APPLICATION PLATFORMThe sh@rebox application consists of the following functionality:• INVENTORY MONITOR• A digital scale within each locker unit allows the owners to track the status of their items.• Any locker activity is transmitted wirelessly to the sh@rebox server and is accessible via a userssh@rebox account online or through the mobile app.• RENTAL PERIOD MANAGEMENT• The sh@rebox application software enables users to establish rental timeframes with the borroweras they see fit.• Any time outside of the agreed upon rental window will prompt an automated reminder messageto the borrower asking when they expect to have the item returned.  This will then be sent to theowner to set expectations accordingly.  • REMOTE ACCESSIBILITY AND COMMUNICATION• Locker access can be granted at any given time through the sh@rebox app.  • Once an individual requests to borrow an item, the owner of that specific item receives a "borrowrequest" notification.  If the owner agrees, an access code is sent to the borrower.• Automated two-way communication prompts enable a quick exchange of info between parties.• Virtually no interaction is required for the transaction to take place, and users can set their desiredcommunication preferences within their account settings.Sunday, May 12, 13
