  • 2. 12 local teens responded to the call to form TAG
    Members range in age from 12-17
    Helped with October Book Sale by decorating sidewalk and with muscle power
    Hosted a Winter Break Teen Center afternoon
    Tutored students before semester exams
    Helped staff with various children’s programs
    Teen Advisory Group (TAG) Created

    • 7. Early Literacy, Storytimes, some with LVHS Literary Guild students

    Serving as a collection site for Western Loudoun Tree of Life Food Pantry
    Displays and Partnerships
  • 11. Made it through a flood in front of New Books when water overflowed from a pipe on the 2nd floor – no books or furniture suffered damage
    Awaiting installation of new phone system
    Survived the Snowpocalyse of 2010 – only one leak, did not run out of fuel oil, and caught up after being closed 6 days
