    • It’s like Avatar except the blue people fail….
    •  Father was a chief of the Shawnee Indians (Died fighting Lord Dunmore’s War). His mother was a part of the Pekowi tribe (She had to runaway to Missouri abandoning her two sons in the Ohio Valley)
    •  Very intelligent able-bodied young man He wanted revenge against those that killed his father Factory System Not many Natives left
    •  Tecumseh had taken part in the battle of fallen timbers Treaty of Fort Wayne Survival among Tecumseh and his brother Tenskwatawa
    •  Tenskwatawa (try saying that 10 times fast) was the brother of Tecumseh and a religious leader of the tribe. Had to follow in brothers foot steps Problems with the alcohol He thought he held special powers
    •  Fight for land over the Ohio Valley United Indians (The United States of Native Americans) Goal was to take back land Created a political system through brother Battle of Tippecanoe
    •  Tecumseh’s best years with General Brock. Took the offensive against Americans Looked like the Natives might win until…… Battle of Thames
    •  British abandonment Native American fight will continue for a very long time
    •  Fought for all Native American Rights Even though he died his fight lasted up until the 1890’s. William Tecumseh Sherman was a Union general in the civil war.
