Benefits from good sanitation and toilets for all The effects of of clean streets and a proper waste water disposal system are clear and immediate: • Clean streets mean fewer mosquitos and other pests • Fewer people fall ill and children will not miss school days • Better health for everybody, particularly for women and children Installation of latrines and lane sewers brings five direct benefits to women and children Great convenience of use at any time of day.
