  1. 1. LATESTINNOVATIONS INENGINEERINGKARN S AVASTHIBRANCH:IT120110116006
  2. 2. INTRODUCTION In 21st century when you look around and youobserve that we are completely surrounded bytechnology which is getting innovated day by day. This technology is the gift of engineering Here are some of the innovations in engineering :
  3. 3. ELECTRIC CLOTHES Physicists at Wake Forest University havedeveloped a fabric that doubles as a spare outlet. When used to line your shirt — or even yourpillowcase or office chair — it converts differencesin temperature across the clothing into electricity. And because the different parts of your shirt canvary by about 10 degrees, you could power up yourMP3 player just by sitting still.
  4. 4. THE MORNING-MULTI TASKER The problem with laptops and tablets, is thatthey’re confined by a screen. You want to turn the entire room into a monitor, where you can have the news on your kitchen tablewhile you place a video call on your fridge. When you’re done, you can swipe everythingaway, like Tony Stark in “Iron Man.”
  5. 5. THE ANTI-SLOUCH SCREEN If you slump down when you’re typing on anErgoSensor monitor by Philips, it’ll suggest that yousit up straighter. To help office workers avoid achy backs and tiredeyes, the device’s built-in camera follows theposition of your pupils to determine how you aresitting. The monitor can also inform you that it’s time tostand up and take a break, and it will automaticallypower down when it senses that you’ve left.
  6. 6. YOUR BODY, YOUR LOGIN A team of Dutch and Italian researchers has foundthat the way you move your phone to your ear whileanswering a call is as distinct as a fingerprint. You take it up at a speed and angle that’s almostimpossible for others to replicate. Which makes it amore reliable password than anything you’d comeup with yourself.
  7. 7. GOOGLE GLASSES Google Glass is a wearable computer witha head-mounted display (HMD) that wasby Google in the Project Glass researchand development project. Google Glass displays information ina smartphone that can interact with theInternet via natural language voicecommands.
  8. 8. SIXTH SENSE TECHNOLOGY The SixthSense technology contain apocket projector, a mirror and a camera containedin a pendant. Both the projector ,the camera and sensors areconnected to a mobile computing device in theuser’s pocket. The projector projects visualinformation ; while the camera recognizes andtracks users hand gestures .The software programprocesses the video.
  9. 9. CONCLUSION In this way I conclude that innovation is a neccesityto make the human life more smoother andcomfortable. Innovation is needed in the right direction to securethe humans and for the welfare of the society.
