Transcript of "Professional Development Survey"

  1. 1. 1. Introduction The purpose of the Summer Activity Survey is to determine what kinds of professional development activities (paid work, classes, conferences, self-directed reading, etc.) Master of Information Studies (MISt) students undertook during the summer of 2008. While we encourage participants to answer the questions completely, you may stop participating in the survey at any time and skip any questions that you do not wish to answer. Individual comments are encouraged and will be completely anonymized (i.e. for "Archives of Ontario," we would indicate "large government archive") for publication or presentation purposes. Your comments will enrich our study to capture complex, individual perceptions. In the context of this survey, "summer" refers to the period from May 1, 2008 to August 31, 2008. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us via e-mail bruce.harpham@utoronto.ca, or meghan.ecclestone@utoronto.ca.
