  • 2. We don’t have the freedom to choose somethings in life e.g. our parents, siblings, placewhere we are born and live and among others.But our health is a different story.Whether you’re in shape or not can depend onhereditary factors as well as lifestyle youchoose.
  • 3. It may take a few simple adjustments for you tostart looking better, feeling great and perform atyour best.It’s not too late to change our habits and adjustfor new ones for the better.
  • 4. Eat right! – look better!The bible recommends moderation in ourhabits. “Don’t . . . stuff yourself with food, “saysproverbs 23:20. I admit that this advice doesn’tseem to work at all times and not easy to follow.
  • 5. Do you need more self-control when it comes to your diet?Here’s what you can do to work for you. Listen to your stomach. Avoid unwholesome foods. Adjust bad eating habits. Secret to success!!!“Don’t skip meals! If you do, you’ll feel starvedand tend to overeat.”
  • 6. Exercise more! – Feel great!The bible says: “Boldly training is beneficial.(1 Timothy 4:8) Yet many young ones don’tseem too eager to exercise. Does very word “exercise” tire you out?If so, here are three solid payoffs from gettinginto a good exercise routine.
  • 7. Solid payoffs• Payoff #1. Exercise boosts your immune system.• Payoff #2. Exercise releases brain chemicals that calm you.• Payoff #3. Exercise can increase fun. Secret to success: Devote at least 20 minutes three times a week to a vigorous physical activity that you can enjoy.
  • 8. Sleep better – perform at your best!The bible says: “Better is a handful of rest than adouble handful of hard work and striving afterthe wind.” (Ecclesiastes 4:6)Without proper sleep, your performance willnosedive!
  • 9. Do you need more sleep?Here’s what you can avoid to help you. Avoid late nights. Cut out the chatter. Aim for consistency.Secret for success: Strive to get between eight to ten hours of sleep each night.
  • 10. Take a few minutes to answer this one question: Which of three areas discussed need attention in your life?•Diet•Exercise•Sleep

  • 12. You have everything to gain by taking just a fewsimple steps to take care of yourself.“Just remember, having a good health will helpyou to look better, feel great and perform atyour best.
