The Whole Truth Of Baptism <ul><li>Gods Word is Truth (Jn.17:17; Ps.119:160) </li></ul><ul><li>Jesus said, “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” (Jn.8:32) </li></ul><ul><li>To know the whole truth of baptism why we are not ask the Gods Word of Who, Why, When, Where & What is baptism? </li></ul>

Who Must To Be Baptized? <ul><li>The taught of the Gods word (Mt.28:18-20) </li></ul><ul><li>That gladly received his word (At.2:41) </li></ul><ul><li>The believer of the gospel (Mk.16:15-16) </li></ul><ul><li>The repentant believer (At.2:38) </li></ul><ul><li>Those who confess of faith in Christ (At.8:37) </li></ul><ul><li>Both men and women that believed (At.8:12) </li></ul><ul><li>That baptized in the wrong name (At.19:1-5) </li></ul><ul><li>Note: The infants cannot do the requirements of baptism therefore they are not need to be baptized (Lk.18:15-17). Infant baptism is wrong! </li></ul>

Why Must To Be Baptized? <ul><li>Because Christ’s command (Mt.28:18-20) </li></ul><ul><li>Because apostles command (At.2:38,42) </li></ul><ul><li>Because it is “must” do (Note the word “must” in At.9:6 and At.22:16 ) </li></ul><ul><li>To washed your sins by blood and water (Jn.19:34; At.22:16; 1 Jn.5:6) </li></ul><ul><li>To be born again by water and spirit (Jn.3:3-5) </li></ul><ul><li>To enter in the kingdom of God (Jn.3:5) </li></ul><ul><li>To be a member in the one body [church] (1 Co.12:13,18-20; Cl.1:18) </li></ul><ul><li>To put on Christ (Gl.3:27) </li></ul><ul><li>For the remission of sins (At.2:38) </li></ul><ul><li>To receive the gift of the Holy Ghost (At.2:38; Ep.1:13) </li></ul><ul><li>To be saved (Mc.16:16; 1 Pt.3:21) </li></ul><ul><li>To follow the example of Jesus Christ (Mt.3:13-15; 1Pt.2:21) </li></ul>

When Must To Be Baptized? <ul><li>When one is ready to obey from the heart (Rm.6:17-18) </li></ul><ul><li>When one is heartily believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God (At.8:36-38) </li></ul><ul><li>In little or many persuasion (At.26:28-29) </li></ul><ul><li>“ ..the same hour…” (At.16:33) </li></ul><ul><li>“ ..straightway.” (At.16:33) </li></ul><ul><li>“ And now why tarriest thou?” (At.22:16) </li></ul><ul><li>Note: Denominations teach 25 doctrine or 16 session must be finished before one to be baptized is wrong! The Gods word teach the urgency of baptism. </li></ul>

Where Must To Be Baptized? <ul><li>In a certain water (At.8:36) </li></ul><ul><li>In a much water (Jn.3:23) </li></ul><ul><li>In a much water that two people can come down and up out of the water (At.8:36-39) </li></ul><ul><li>Note: The pouring and sprinkling baptism is not fit the words “come down and up out of the water” therefore it is wrong act of baptism. </li></ul>
  6. 6. What Is Baptism? <ul><li>Baptism from the Greek word; </li></ul><ul><li>“ Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized: (Rm.6:3-7) </li></ul><ul><li>Into Jesus Christ (v.3 Cf. Gl.3:27; 2 Tm.2:10) </li></ul><ul><li>Into His death (v. 3-4 Cf. Jn.19:33-34; 1 Jn.5:6) </li></ul><ul><li>It is burying with Christ into death (v.4 Cf. Cl.2:12) </li></ul><ul><li>It is planting [uniting] together with Christ (v.5 Cf. Ep.2:5-6) </li></ul><ul><li>It is raising with Christ (v.4-5 Cf. Cl.2:12; 3:1) </li></ul><ul><li>It is for remission of sins (At.2:38; Cl.2:13) </li></ul><ul><li>It is for freeing from sin (v.7 Cf. Rm.6:16-17).” </li></ul>βαπτίζω baptizō Thayer Definition: 1) to dip repeatedly, to immerse, to submerge (of vessels sunk) 2) to cleanse by dipping or submerging, to wash, to make clean with water, to wash one’s self, bathe 3) to overwhelm

Conclusion: <ul><li>“ (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)” – 2 Co.6:2 </li></ul><ul><li>“ And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.” (At.22:16) </li></ul>
