  • Note is explaining the doctrine of the Trinity, refer to Wayne Grudem (Bible Doctrine, 1999) - where he correctly points out - 'ontological (being) unity and economic (role) subordination'. That is one in being, in purpose in nature; but subordinate in terms of roles for instance the The Father send the Son, the Son never send the Father. A graven images (Acts 17:29; Isa.46:5-9) </li></ul><ul><li>The true God is: </li></ul><ul><li>1. Spirit (Jn.4:24) – without flesh & bones (Lk.24:39) </li></ul><ul><li>2. Eternal (Rm.1:20) – without end </li></ul><ul><li>3. Powerful – “..with God all things are possible.” (Mt.19:26) </li></ul>

The One True God Is More Than One Person <ul><li>“ And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:..” (Gn.1:26) </li></ul><ul><li>“ And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us ,.” (Gn.3:22) </li></ul><ul><li>“ Go to, let us go down,..” (Gn.11:7) </li></ul><ul><li>Note: Some people believed that the Gods companion here is the angels. If it is true why God need to consult or invite the angels to make man? Is the angels creator or powerful equal to God? Certainly not! (Hb.1:7,14) </li></ul>The question is, “How many person in one God and who they are?”

Conclusion <ul><li>The One True God is composed of three different person; God the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. </li></ul><ul><li>Peter believed that the Holy Spirit is God (Acts 5:3-4). </li></ul><ul><li>Thomas believed that Jesus is Lord and God (Jn.20:28). </li></ul><ul><li>Hb.11:6 says ,“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is , and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” </li></ul><ul><li>“ He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.” (Mk.16:16). </li></ul>
