BLESSED AND HOLY IS THAT HATH PART IN THE FIRST RESURRECTION
Rv.20:6 ,”Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection:”
What, how and why be blessed and holy is he or she that hath part in the
Let us search in the scriptures – Jn.5:39
What Is The First Resurrection?
The First Resurrection Implied That Have:
First death – all men has died in sins (Rm.5:12; 1 Tm5:6)
“… for sin is the transgression of the law” (1 Jn.3:4)
Sin that knoweth to do good and doeth it not (Jm.4:17)
For all have sinned (Rm.3:23) . For the wages of sin is death (Rm.6:23).
First death means the temporal separation to God (Is.59:1-2)
Second death – refers to death in hell (Rv.21:8), the eternal separation to God (Rv.21:8; Mt.25:41)
First resurrection – means the resurrection from the dead in sins (Ep.2:1,5). If there is first resurrection means implied that have second resurrection;
Second resurrection – it refers to eternal life…the dead in Christ shall rise first; Then we which are alive and remain shall be changed and caught up… to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord (1 Ts.4:13-18; 1 Co.15:51-53)
How We That Hath Part In The First Resurrection? To obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ – 2 Ts.1:8-9

Paul preached the gospel – vr.1-2. The gospel means:
Christ died for our sins – vr.3
He was buried – vr.4
he rose again – vr.4
How to obey the gospel? – Rm.6:1-6
We must believe the gospel (Mk.16:15-16;Rm.1:16; 10:17; Jn.8:24)
We must repent or mortify our sins (vr.6; Gl.2:20; Rm.8:13; Gl.5:19-21; Lk.13:3)
We must confess Christ (Mt.10:32-33)
We must buried our sins thru baptism (vr.4; Cl.2:12; Ep.5:26; At.22:16)
We must walk in newness of life (vr.4-5;Ep.4:22-25; 2 Co.5:17)
Why Blessed And Holy That Hath Part In The First Resurrection?
Because on such the second death hath no power – Rv.20:6; 1 Co.15:55-57; Rv.2:10-11
Because they shall be priests of God and of Christ – Rv.20:6; 1 Pt.2:5,9
Because they shall reign with Him (Rv.20:6; 5:9-10; At.20:28; Rm.5:17), a thousand years (Cf. Aw.50:10; 105:8). 1000 years is not literal but it is the symbolic number means the completeness of time of Jesus reign not on earth but in heaven (1 Co.15:24-26; Jn.18:36).
Do you want be blessed and holy thru that hath part in the first resurrection, so that you can escape the punishment of second death? (Rv.20:14-15).
“ And now why tarriest thou? Arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.” (At.22:16).
