    • God continually tests people’s. . .

      • Obedience
      • Love
      • Integrity
      • Loyalty
    • Words like trials, temptations, refining , and testing occur more than 200 times in the Bible.
  • 6. Life is a Test
    • Character is developed and revealed by tests, and life is a test.

      • Major Changes
      • Delayed Promises
      • Impossible Problems
      • Unanswered Prayers
      • Undeserved Criticism

    • GOOD NEWS! God wants you to pass the test.
    • “ No testing has overtaken you that is not common to everyone. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tested beyond your strength, but with the testing he will also provide the way out so that you may be able to endure it.” (1 Corinthians 10:13 NRSV)

    • Stewardship begins with recognizing that God is the owner of everything and everyone on Earth.
    • “ The earth is the Lord's, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it” (Psalm 24:1)

    • We never really own anything, God just loans it to us while we are here.

    • Everything we enjoy should be treated as a trust which God placed in our hands.

    • Your rewarded will be based on how well you handled what God entrusted to you.
    • “ From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked.” (Luke 12:48)
